Hi there! This winter semester I will spend an Erasmus semester abroad which is why I am looking for a subtenant for my room. The room will be furnished (as you can see on the pictures), but of course I can also remove some furniture if you don't like it.
If there is one thing we don't lack in our house, it's space. Our house offers a total of about 140 m2 of living space, divided into 9 rooms. This includes a comfortable living room with two sofas, a piano (which you can play if you have the skills), a music system and a projector. For shared cooking sessions, numerous visitors or possible poker nights, our dining room with a long table also offers sufficient capacity. If the weather plays along, our gardens (yes, that's right, we actually have two) are also nice places to spend your time. If you have a certain affinity for gardening or building, you can of course start your own projects here :D
Your personal area (so to say your room) is composed of two rooms, which are about 30 m2 in total. These consist of:
- The bedroom ( about 11m2): Relatively small, enough space for a bed, a desk, a chest of drawers and a closet offers it nonetheless. The room faces west, so it is very bright especially in the afternoon and evening. To see a beautiful sunset you don't have to leave your room in the evening :) The floor is covered with laminate
- The pool room (~20m2): The anteroom to your bedroom. Besides the pool table, this room also features a dartboard, two sofas and some houseplants, which are happy about a drop of water from time to time. In principle, you will share this room as a living room with Kolja, whose room is on the same floor.
You don't have to worry about parking your bike or car, a room in the basement acts as a bike cellar and you can easily park your car in our yard.
Our house is located in Grone directly on the Kasseler Landstraße. Although it is quite busy especially during rush hour, you hear almost nothing of it in the house with closed windows, the windows are very well insulated. Shopping facilities are plentiful in the area, Rewe and Edeka are each about 500 meters away.
Besides, there are a few restaurants, gyms and a kebab shop within walking distance. KFC and McDonalds are also right around the corner.
If you want to go downtown, the bus will take you there in 10 minutes, the bus stop is about 2 min walk from our house. Alternatively, you can also take the bike, to the central campus to the city center you need between 12 and 15 minutes, depending on your speed.
A big house is not designed to live on your own it it, which is why you'll have the pleasure of having three roommates. These are:
- Björn (22): plays handball professionally in the 3rd league and is therefore very busy with training and weekly matches (which are worth watching). As a compensation he has 5 side jobs. Oh yes and besides that he also studies law. But when he's here, you can look forward to a super good-natured and enthusiastic roommate, with whom you can have a very good conversation, especially about everything sports-related.
- Kolja (20): versatile, ambitious and up for any adventure. You will share the pool room with him, but at the table you will find your master in him - especially in the beginning. His daily routine is strongly influenced by his infamous math assignments, but apart from that he is always up for spontaneous activities, no matter if it's a cooking session, a round of chess or a spontaneous trip.
- Pia (21): Winding down the evening with a glass of good wine and an exciting series? If that sounds good to you, you'll probably get along with her just fine. Unless, of course, you do not like Harry Potter - then the harmony is over very quickly. If you like to work out (or want to start), you will find a good training partner in her. Convenient: The gym is right across the street from us, so there are no excuses :D
As I will spend only spend one semester abroad, this room will only be available in this period of time. If you are an Erasmus or international student, this might be a good offer for you. You should be interested in a shared flat life. This does not mean that you have to do something with us all the time or that we have fixed rituals that you have to follow. If you occasionally want to have your peace or study, that's perfectly fine, we don't feel any different. If you liked the ad and you could imagine living with us, we would be happy to hear from you :)
