Hello! I am Omar (23) from Ecuador and I am looking for new tenants for our 80 m^2 flat in Weende. This flat will be completely unoccupied by the 31.10.2019. My two flatmates have already moved out and I am the only one left. Therefore, I am looking for 2-3 new tenants.
The flat consists of the following separate spaces:
- 2 bedrooms*
- 1 kitchen
- 1 bathroom with bathtub
- 1 big living room
- 1 balcony
*Remark about the flat: The flat is actually a large single-apartment. However, under consent and approval of the owner, we have used it for the last 5 years as a shared flat. One bedroom is connected through the kitchen. The other bedroom is actually the old dinning room and is connected to the living room by two sliding doors. The bedrooms are large enough to be shared by two people (currently the shared bedroom fits two beds, two large closets and a desk). The flat is large enough to fit 3 people. The disadvantage is of course that 2 will have to share the bedroom (the advantage being that the costs per person are lower)
IMPORTANT: The costs for the whole flat will be split between the new 2 or 3 new tenants. The total rent without additional costs (Kaltmiete) is 830 Euro. Therefore, if 2 new tenants move in, each tenant will have to pay 415 Euro of monthly rent without additional costs. If 3 people move in (meaning that two share a bedroom, see below), the rent for each tenant will be then 276.67 Euro. The costs shown in the announcement are the total monthly costs for each of the 3 current tenants. For the new tenants, it will vary a bit
Neither the flat, nor the building have a washing/drying machine. However, there are self-service laundry businesses nearby (one is on the same street only a 5-minute walk away).
The services for internet, electricity and gas (for the heating) have to be contracted on your own! The amount of additional costs shown here is what we currently pay for the whole flat. Depending on the companies/services you choose, the total amount of additional costs for you will of course vary.
In addition, a deposit (Kaution) has to be transferred once to the owner. The amount is not yet clear, can be 1 rent without additional costs or more. It depends on the owner and it has not yet been clarified.
All of the furniture and kitchen equipment is owned by us and we would gladly sell it to you for a low price! More information below
The location is definitely one of the best aspects of this flat! Both the central and northern university installations are nearby and there are all kinds of shops in the vicinity.
The central campus is can be reached with an 8-10 minute walk and the north campus with a 15-20 minute walk. Of course it is much faster with bus/bike. There are many supermarkets in the vicinity as close as a 2 minute walk (Penny, Lidl, Rewe). The closest bus stops are Robert-Koch-Strasse and Liebrechtstrasse.
Since everyone is moving out, the day to day lifestyle in this flat is up to you! You can bring friends over and have small parties, but of course you have to be considerate regarding noise and, to inform the owner (he lives on the base floor of the same building) beforehand.

We have the following furniture units/equipment which you can buy from us if you wish. It is practically everything you see in the pictures. The prices are still not defined and are negotiable!
The following objects are 4-5 years old and will have very low prices:
- 2 IKEA desks. Each desk is connected to an IKEA shelf.
- 1 IKEA dining table for 4 people.
- 2 large IKEA wardrobes.
- 2 IKEA beds with mattresses (I recommend buying new ones)
- 1 fridge from the brand OK
- 1 oven with 4 induction-hotplates from the brand OK
The following are owned by the other flatmate and are just 1 year old:
-1 bed without mattress
-1 large wardrobe
Of course, we will take care of the things that you don't buy.
