The room is very big, 19 m^2 plus a balcony that faces the garden, and it includes a bed, a divan, a night table, a desk, two lamps, a horizontal mirror, one big wardrobe and two large closets. It is located on the 1st floor, just like the other housemates' rooms and the big bathroom.
On the ground floor there is a smaller bathroom without a shower/bath and the kitchen. The kitchen itself includes a microwave, an oven, a ceramic cooktop with room for 4 pans, a sink, a fridge, a lot of cupboards and a table. The ground-floor also has a living room, but it is only open when the house owner is at the house.
In the basement there is a room with the laundry machine and another for hanging and drying clothes.
In addition, there is a large garden behind the house with a terrace and an open shed with a large table.
Located in Gröbenzell, the house is 10 minutes walking from the S-Bahn stop (S3 line). The trains take around 10 minutes to get to Pasing and 25 minutes to get to Karlsplatz. In the morning the S-Bahn frequency is one every 10 minutes, while in the afternoon and on weekends it's one every 20 minutes.
There is a Rewe City and a Rossmann about 7 minutes walking, although I usually do my shopping on the way back home from the S-Bahn since it's in the same direction.
The particular area where the house is located is pretty calm, with similar houses nearby, lots of trees and a small stream flowing close, so it's very nice to be in the garden when there is good weather.
The house owner stays overnight usually once a week in his own room on the second floor of the house, but he's a nice guy a very easy to talk to (speaks very good English as well).
With the other housemates I usually talk with them in the kitchen while cooking/eating, but it's nothing forced and in the end everyone pretty much just goes about their day independently.
The landlord only makes 6-month long contracts, but if everything goes well, he doesn't mind extending it for longer once the contract is up.
Also, if you are interested in moving one week or two before the 1st of September, that is also a possibility, but in the end it will depend on when I finish my last exam (should be around mid-August).
In case you are wondering: I'm not sure exactly what the internet speed is, but I can confirm that I am able to stream Netflix and live football matches from the bed without any problems.
If you are interested, please send a message! Preferably in English if you want me to understand it :P
PS: if there is any other information that you find relevant but I did not mention in the ad, please feel free to ask in your message!
