I am working as an Dance and Movement Therapist in Heidelberg but for one *1 month I will be in Istanbul / Turkey for seeing my family.I'll be subletting my wonderfully cute room in the Oberdorf WG. My room is enough for one person having a nice time alone and being creative, on the fist floor (very quiet and facing nice view of the woods), and has been recently redecorated and repainted. It contains a double bed (140x160), an old desk and office chair.One wood shelves for your objects or belongings. a low table and pillows for chilling and many baskets to store extra stuff. One minimalistic dress hanger and some shelves under the bed. They are really practical. :) Additionally, there is some books you can read and get some insporation. There is some plants, they need some water and love, I would be so thankfull, if you accompany them.

The ground floor (more than 50 square meters) used to be part of a restaurant and therefore has a pretty cool and unique flair. Here you will find the kitchen and the living room, with both a co-working corner and a couch corner + stereo system and projector for movie nights. Our 8 rooms are spread over the other two floors. With a large laundry room with bathtub, a shower with a toilet (second floor) and an additional separate toilet (first floor), there are rarely any sanitary bottlenecks. In the basement there is storage space for luggages and bikes and a small workbench with an incredible number of tools. We also have a hanging device for bicycles at the entrance. On top of everything, for the last few years we have been renting a shared garden within a 5-10 minute walk from the house where we are trying to organise jam sessions in Spring and Summer or (veggie) barbecues. The garden is our special place to relax and escape the summer heat!

Lage
The WG is located in Kirchheim in a quiet residential area. In a few minutes you are out in the fields! The public transport connection is great. From "Kirchheim Rathaus" (3 min) you can take tram line 26 or the buses 33 and 720/721 comfortably to the main station or to the old town. With the S-Bahn you have a direct connection from "HD Kirchheim/Rohrbach" (8 min) in the direction of Karlsruhe and Mannheim. Of course, the fastest and cheapest way is by bike... For cyclists there is a Nextbike station at the town hall.

Aldi, Lidl, Casa Verde, various bakeries and healthy food stores can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes, REWE in about 10 minutes. In Rohrbach there is also the so-called Erlebnis-REWE and a DM. Culinary one is in Kirchheim is also well supplied with kebab shops, pizza shops, an ice cream parlour, an Asian snack bar and various restaurants and therefore does not have to suffer from hunger. Volksbank, Sparkasse and a post office can also be reached on foot in a very short time.

WG-Leben
Living in a shared apartment is definitely the best thing about our house! We are absolutely not a flat share: we often sit together in the living room in the evening, cook, play games or start a spontaneous dance party from time to time.
But sometimes we're also available for more quiet things, like watching a movie, reading something together or babbling about life, the universe and whatever else is buzzing around in our heads. We are a bunch of 20 to 30 year old made up of different personalities and occupations, from students and PhDs to young workers.

Sonstiges
I am looking for a responsible and caring person (student or young worker) to live in harmony with my flatmates and enjoy my room while I am abroad. If you are travelling through Germany and need a place to stay in the wonderful city of Heidelberg, you're also welcome.

Please note that smoking is not allowed in all indoor common spaces and inside my room (not even on the window sills). There is a nice terrace in front of the door that serves this and many more purposes ;)
