Hallo zusammen,

Hello all,
I am looking for a roommate for the apartment that I shared with another person until recently.
In the apartment there are two smaller rooms (around 10 m2) and one larger, bright room, which I currently use as a living and working room. The idea is to rent out the second smaller room and keep the larger room together as a living and working room. However, I am also open to other constellations, such as having the two smaller rooms for one person and the larger room for the other person and then exclusively using the kitchen as a shared space, or other ideas as well.
The apartment is on the first floor, the currently empty room faces the street, however, we are slightly elevated, so it is very limited to no visibility from the street. It is bright and quiet.
To the apartment belongs a cellar and an attic, so there is felt infinite storage space.
The apartment is located just 2 minutes away from the Westbahnhof, in the parallel street to Magdelstieg. It is quiet here (even from the station is absolutely nothing to hear) and in the backyard is a beautiful garden, which we use together with the other house residents, including children and some cats.
By foot it is about 10 minutes to the city center, with the bike only once sit on it and roll down the hill. But the good thing is that the apartment is located directly in front of the slope, so hardly pedaling necessary. It's a 5 minute walk to Friedensberg and there are bakers and supermarkets right around the corner. It is also only a few minutes walk to the university of applied sciences. Out into the countryside is super close.
Due to the large living room with tiled stove, which we have also often fired up in the winter, and the garden, there are many opportunities for a sociable WG life.
I'm studying for a master's degree in social theory, so I've been at home a lot during the day the last few months, which won't change that much in the foreseeable future for reasons I know. I can easily imagine doing things together like cooking for each other, having different drinks at different times of the day, updating each other on current world events, pissing off about (pandemic) everyday life, etc. Sharing stuff I like.
Because of work and Friends I am often away for a few days at a time and also otherwise I find retreats for myself good and respect those of others. With various conceivable housing needs or housing ideas I go along and am compatible with everything possible. Most important to me is good communication, and a certain degree of shared commitment to a clean, comfortable apartment. Oh, and I don't like inhuman and corona-denying fart shit, but I do like respectful learning together. In any case, I am very motivated not to live alone, whatever that means :-)
Everything is included in the service charges, i.e. W-LAN, GEZ, janitor service, etc.
But I am also open for solidary rent financing, so in case you are short of money, the money is not enough for the deposit, or whatever else happens in this fuckin' world. I think that solutions can be found together for many things.
