Unsere WG liegt im beschaulichen Jena-Ost. Zur nächsten Bus-/ bzw. Bahnstation sind es höchstens 4 min zu Fuß. Und egal ob mit dem Rad oder der Bahn, du bist in zehn Minuten im Zentrum und an der Uni. Weiterhin liegt die WG in einer Einbahnstraße, womit von den Geräuschen aus der Karl-Liebknecht Straße wenig bis nichts zu uns vordringt.

Der nächste Supermarkt (Edeka), ein Bäcker, die Post, sowie Apotheke sind nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Direkt um die Ecke findest du auch zwei Tauschregale, die Schillerkirche und diverse Nachbarschaftskatzen <3

Und falls du mal Ablenkung vom Uni-Alltag brauchst, liegt die Natur auch quasi vor der Haustür: zum Camsdorfer Ufer oder dem Jenzig sind es nur wenige Minuten, sodass du stets die Qual der Wahl zwischen Wandern oder Saale & Sonne genießen hast.

Our shared flat is located in the tranquil district of Jena-Ost. The nearest bus or train station is no more than a 4-minute walk away. And whether you take the bike or the train, you can be in the centre and at the university in ten minutes. Furthermore, the flat-sharing community is located on a one-way street, which means that little or nothing of the noise from Karl-Liebknecht Straße reaches us.

The nearest supermarket (Edeka), bakery, post office and pharmacy are only a stone's throw away. Right around the corner you'll also find two exchange shelves, the Schillerkirche and various neighbourhood cats <3

And if you need a distraction from your university life, nature is right on your doorstep: the Camsdorfer Ufer or the Jenzig are only a few minutes away, so you're always spoilt for choice between hiking or enjoying the Saale and the sun.

Wir, das sind Khai (Energie und Umwelt), Jennifer (Neuere Geschichte) und Lena (Lehrarmt Deutsch & Geschichte), sind auf der Suche nach einer weiteren freundlichen, aufgeschlossenen Person.

Unsere Küche ist zwar nicht gerade ein Raumwunder, aber es lässt sich dort und auf den Balkonen gut beisammensitzen und quatschen. Auch für gemeinsames Kekse- Backen und Umdekorieren sind wir zu begeistern und wenn du sonst noch Ideen hast, immer her damit. Da wir aber alle ganz gut für die Uni zu tun haben, hat natürlich auch jeder seinen Freiraum & Ruhe in der WG und man trifft sich auch einfach mal nur auf einen kurzen Kaffeeplausch.

We, that is Khai (Energy and Environment), Jennifer (Modern History) and Lena (German & History), are looking for another friendly, open-minded person.

Our kitchen is not exactly a miracle of space, but it is good to sit together and chat there and on the balconies. We are also enthusiastic about baking biscuits and redecorating together and if you have any other ideas, please let us know. But since we all have a lot to do for university, everyone has their own space and peace in the flat-sharing community and we also just meet up for a quick coffee.

Wir haben einen Putzplan, der ganz gut funktioniert und teilen die Kosten für Alltagsgegenstände, das Übliche eben.

Für das Fahrrad haben wir einen gemeinsamen Keller und ein eigenes Kellerabteil für Gepäck und Kisten. Ein erst zwei Jahre junger Waschtrockner ist ebenfalls vorhanden :)

We have a cleaning plan that works quite well and share the costs for everyday items, the usual stuff.

We have a shared cellar for the bike and a separate cellar compartment for luggage and boxes. A washer-dryer, only two years old, is also available :)
