We speak English here since this is an international WG, please make sure to speak basic English. :)
The girls are super lovely and warm people, always nice to be around with. The room itself is very comfy, it’s small, but not tight. If you want, I can leave some furniture for you (alltogether for around 150€). The moving in date is flexible between the 1st of July and 20th of July.
Since I was not there very long here is the description provided by your future flatmates:
The room is 13qm (rather long and narrow, but well cut!). It has a high ceiling and a huge window to the north side, although there is no direct sunlight, it is very light all day and when the sun is shining the building on the other side is reflecting the sunlight directly into your room! It is 438€ total, internet and GEZ included. There is a deposit of 830€.
Our flat is located in a former office building, so it has its quirks. There is no lighting from the ceiling, so you will need to bring a lamp or two with a plug. The kitchen is located in the middle of our flat. Our three rooms and the bathroom are surround it. We are very well equipped, we have a small dishwasher and Luzie is the proud owner of a great coffeemachine, so there is always good coffee. In the basement there are washingmachines (2€ per wash) plus you can dry your laundry there aswell. You get to our flat over a balcony, that we and our neighbours are using a lot in summer. The flat is on the 4th floor (with lift!).
Ur flat is directly at Aachener Str./Gürtel train station. By train or bike you can reach pretty much everything in Cologne in 10 minutes. There is a Kiosk and a pizza place next door, Rewe, DM and the city forest are a 5min walk, to Aldi and Netto you will need a 15 min walk. The Aachener Weiher is also just like a 10 minute walk away.
Sabrine and Luzie like listening to music and singing along to it out loud. They play card and board games together and they like their flat to be at least moderately clean.
Sabrine is 26 years old, she is from Tunisia and she doesn't speak German yet, but she speaks Arabic, French, and English. She is a Sofware Engineer and is currently working from home. Sabrine is working hard during the week but is having a lot fun on the weekends with her friends. She likes to cook Tunisian food and is happy to share and in her spare time she likes to go the gym or go on walks in nature.
Luzie is 25 years old. She works as a receptionist at Tanzfaktur and studies cutural social education. She likes to dance, listening to podcasts and audiobooks. She eats mostly vegetarian food and likes to cook in company. She likes to participate in creative and social projects and going to cutural events etc.
We would love to cook together in our Wg, hang out sometimes, go thriftshopping together etc. We also spend our alone time in our rooms but we also like to socialize and sit down for a cup of coffee to catch up whenever there is a chance.
In this flat everyone of us has a separate contract. So if you are a student or you are earning less than 1270€/month, you will need to have a Bürgschaft + payment rolls of the last 3 months provided by your parents, who need to be living/working in Germany. Otherwise you need to provide your work contract or your payment rolls of the last 3 months.
We are very much looking forward to hearing from you! Please write a bit about yourself, so we can get to know you a bit!
And please: only queer friendly and BiPoC friendly! If you are an intolerant twat please don’t bother to write us!
Thank you! :)
