WG in schöner Maisonette-Wohnung in Kalk-Höhenberg sucht Mitbewohner*in/ Flatmate for shared flat wanted

Die Wohnung liegt am Rande von Höhenberg in einem Haus, das genauso alt wie der Stadtteil ist. Die Station Höhenberg/Frankfurter Straße der Linie 1 ist 3 Gehminuten entfernt und so ist man schnell in Kalk und der Stadt. Mit dem Bus kommt man gut nach Mühlheim und Vingst. Mit dem Fahrrad braucht man so 10 Minuten bis Kalk und 25 bis zum Neumarkt, 35 bis zur Uni (wenn man weiß, wo man fahren muss ;)). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind 10 Minuten entfernt, für den nächsten Bio-Supermarkt muss man allerdings bis nach Deutz. Direkt auf der anderen Seite der Frankfurter Straße (die man angenehmerweise nicht höhrt) fängt die Merheimer Heide an, man ist also in 10 Minuten im Grünen. Wichtig: Vom Dachfenster kann man die linke Hälfte vom Dom sehen.

The flat is located in the Höhenberg neighbourhood in a house that is as old as the area. The tram stop Höhenberg/Frankfurter Straße can be reached in 3 minutes walking and via tram line 1 Kalk, the centre and the university. The bus takes you to Mülheim and Vingst. By bike, Kalk is 10 minutes away, Neumark 25 and the university 35 (if one knows the secret paths ;)). Grocery stores are 10 minutes away, the next organic supermarket is in Deutz. On the other side of the Frankfurter Straße (which, fortunately, cannot be heard from the flat) the Merheimer Heide begins, so 10 minutes walking take you right into the heart of nature (almost). Important for Cologne: From the upper floor, the cathedral's left half can be seen.

Wir, das sind Julia, Julius und Carl, haben im Juli letzten Jahres die WG neu gegründet und da unsere Mitbewohnerin Daisy uns jetzt verlässt suchen wir einen vierten Menschen, die*der Lust auf gemeinschaftliches Zusammenleben jenseits reiner Sachgründe hat.

Julia (26) hat gerade ihre Ausbildung zur Psychotherapeutin begonnen, ansonsten tanzt und fotografiert sie gerne und spielt auf dem Klavier auf dem Dachboden. Sie labert nicht ganz so viel wie Carl & Julius, ist aber meistens nett und lacht gerne.

Julius (24) studiert Medizin, was ihn aber nicht davon abhält, auch jetzt schon Fäden zu ziehen und von dem Moment zu träumen, wenn er endlich "Lassen Sie mich durch, ich bin Arzt" rufen kann. Er jobt als Pflegeassitenz in der Uniklinik und spielt ansonsten gerne Gitarre oder führt stundenlange (Schein-)Diskussionen mit Demopolizist*innen und AFDlern.

Carl (26) hat sein Hobby zum Beruf gemacht und arbeitet jetzt als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum, wo er sich mit Kolonialhelden und anderen Schreckgestalten herumschlägt. Wenn er gerade nicht geklauten Kram anderer Gesellschaften begutachtet, kocht er gerne gewagte Fusion-Gerichte, sammelt Postkarten und klebt diese auf alle ihm zur Verfügung stehenden Freiflächen.

Zur Warung vorneweg: Julius und Carl sind Geschwister, Julia und Carl in einer Beziehung. War nicht so geplant, hat sich so ergeben, ist nicht so weird, wie es klingt - wir sind alle eigenständige Menschen :)

Wir wünschen uns ein WG-Leben, in dem wir aufeinander Rücksicht nehmen und füreinander da sind. Wir wollen versuchen, eine Balance zwischen Gemeinschaft und Freiräumen zu finden, bei der sich alle geborgen aber nicht bedrängt fühlen. Konkret heißt das, dass wir großen Wert auf offene und ehrliche Kommunikation legen. Wir wollen gerne unser Essen teilen, wie genau können wir dann gemeinsam überlegen (Julia und Carl sind auf jeden Fall passionierte Foodsaver). Putzpläne sind ja als gemeinschaftlich selbstauferlegtes Regelwerk zutiefst anarchistisch und genauso wollen wir das leben ;) Auch wäre wir froh, wenn du mit einer zumindest mittelfristigen Bleibeperspektive einziehen würdest, damit man sich nicht, nachdem man gerade eine gute Dynamik gefunden hat, wieder trennen muss. Wir wollen in einem Umfeld leben, in dem man sich ehrlich fragt, wie es der anderen Person geht, und die dann auch Lust hat, ehrlich zu antworten :)

We are Julia, Julius and Carl and founded this WG last July. As our beloved flatmate Daisy is now leaving us, we are looking for a forth person to WG with and to share more than just living space.

Julia (26) has just started her phychotherapist training and apart from that likes dancing and photography. She can often be found playing the piano in the attic. She is not as talkative as Carl & Julius, but like laughing and being kind (most of the time) :)

Julius (24) is still studying to become a doctor, but that does not stop him from already pulling threads and dreaming of the moment when somebody calls for a doctor on a plane and he will stand up. He is working as an assistance nurse at the Uniklinik and when he is not saving lives, he is playing the guitar or leads hourlong (mock-)arguments with riot policepeople or AFD-followers.

Carl (26) turn his passion into his job and is now working as junior researcher at the Cologne ethnographic museum, digging in the lives of colonial heros and other creepy dudes. When not handling stolen material culture, he likes cooking "interesting" fusion kitchen, collecting postcards and plastering any empty surface space with them.

A "warning" upfront: Julius and Carl are brothers, Julia and Carl in a relationship. This group setup happend party by coincidence and is not as weird as it sounds - we are all independent individuals :)

We hope to create a shared living space in which we respect and care for each other. We want to try and strike a balance between community and independence, so that everyone feels cared for but not pressured to perform in a certain way. Concretely, this means that we want to be as open and honest in our communication as possible. We want to share our food, the specifics we can work out together (but both Julia and Carl are passionate foodsavers). To divide household chores fairly is a deeply anarchist principle and we want to live it accordingly ;) We would also appreciate if you would know that could stay in the WG at least for the near future, so that we don't have to split up just after getting to know each other. We want to live together in an environment where everyone feels like it's ok to ask the others how they are doing and where they feel like answering honestly :)

Die 400 Euro Übernahmekosten ergeben sich aus einem Teil der Anschaffungskosten für die Küche und der Renovierungskosten für die Gemeinschaftsräume, die bei der Neugründung angefallen sind und die wir nicht alle Daisy überlassen wollen. Falls du wieder ausziehen müsstest, könntest du natürlich auch einen Teil dieser Kosten von der nächsten Person wiederbekommen. Falls so viel Geld auf einmal (erste Miete, Kaution, Übernahmekosten) zahlen ein Problem für dich darstellt, ist das aber nicht schlimm - wir finden eine Lösung.

Du könntest entweder zu 1.2. oder zum 15.2. einziehen, je nachdem, was dir besser passt.

The 400 euros that we put down for the initial payment is part of the money we paid for the kitchen and the stuff needed for renovating the communal spaces. We decided that as Daisy did only end up living here for less than a year, she sould not pay all those costs and could pass some on to you. If you have to leave earlier that expected, you could of course also pass on a smaller portion of that money. If paying that much money (first rent, deposite, renovation costs) in one go is a problem for you, we will certainly find a solution :)

You could move in on the 1st or the 15th of February, depending on what better suits your needs.
