I am moving out of this WG because I concluded my studies in Germany, I’ve been living here as an untermieter (meaning I took a sublease), the current hauptmieter and the other original tenants will finish their contract the 31th of December this means you will be living with them from the 1st of November to the 1St of January. But you can apply for a new tenant contract from November (this information is better to be discussed with the tenants here and I am not taking liability on this information so i won’t lie to you, and is all under your own free will and risk to take this opportunity, also I’ll be honest, and is sad to say it since I’m a foreigner living in Germany but if you’re German your chances of getting the new contract from December will be higher and almost a secured than a international applying to this place.
Now that you went through this information you can continue🚦
The rent:
360€ per month all cost included, the rent has to be paid to the hauptmieter before the 1St of each month, since I’ll be paying the November rent beforehand, you’ll have to give me 276€ which is the rent from November minus the week that I’ll still be here (so the last week of October).
The deposit:
The equivalent to 2 months of rent, when I moved in I paid 600€ and this amount goes to the person who’s moving out so me.
The room:
11 square meters(aprox) room in a 6th floor shared apartment, the room is full of light specially in the morning and from the window you have a beautiful view to the mountains.
⚠️important: Since I am moving out, I won’t take any of the furniture here so you will take the desk, the closet, the bed, the total price for this will be 270 bucks (this is really fair cmon 😅 and I won’t accept lower offers)
The location:
You have TH Köln Deutz campus 10 mins by foot, two bus stations 4 mins foot, the Sbahn station trimbornstr 4 mins foot and the Ubahn Kalk Post: 6 mins foot.
The neighborhood is full of restaurants, there’s a Lidl just 3 mins by foot and you have the Arcaden Mall just 6 mins foot.
Since I live here I’ve never had a problem with no one and is also a tranquil neighborhood.

She’s currently finishing his studies of intercultural communication, she is really approachable, happy and also into social and cultural causes, she’s vegan and loves a cup of coffee with a good conversation. She loves plants !!! 🍀
Tim 35🇩🇪:
Tim is currently finishing his masters studies, he’s a elektrotechniker person (idk if I wrote it right) but he’s super clever, he enjoy playing COD MW, CS and other games and he’s also up to hang, having a conversation or really anything, he’s diet is also vegan.
They’re both really sauber and they expect you to be sauber as well and to clean after you use the kitchen for example, we do have cleaning schedules as every WG, sometimes you wanna be alone and they both respect your personal space.
You’ll have a place equiped with everything you can imagine:

The balcony
About the heating, since the upper and the lower floor turns on the heating the whole winter, you barely will have to turn the winter here, I remember doing it like 5 times max the last winter.
They seriously didn’t charged me for anything so I doubt they’ll charge you.
