Hello!
The offered room is partially furnished (bed with slats, pillows, chest, some shelves, and nightstand), with high ceilings and two large windows facing out over a park.
The room is part of a furnished 2.5 room flat, with a full kitchen and dining area and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower, shared with me (Al, a PhD student and queer-about-town) and 2 very sweet cats, Wayne and Käse (unemployed, sexuality unknown).
The room is available immediately, and will be available until 31.12.2022.
I will be traveling during a portion of the subletting period, and would need someone to look after the 2 cats during that time. The rent would normally be 490€, but in exchange for looking after the 2 cat friends, the room will only be 390€. Please only reply if you would be interesting and excited about hanging with 2 cool cats for the time :)
The apartment is ~6 min walking from an S-Bahn stop (Trimbornstr) and about ~12 min walking from the tram lines 1 & 9 (Kalk Post). Additionally, the Rhein is about 20 minutes walking, and there are several parks nearby.
For groceries, there is a Lidl about 200 meters away, and Kalk Hauptstrasse is about 12 min walking.
The neighbors in the building are all very chill and nice!
The flat is a 2.5 room apartment, with a full kitchen and a newly remodeled bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, stove, and oven, as well as a rice cooker, food processor, and robust spice rack. There is also a washing machine in the basement, and hanging racks available.
The wifi is not great for high-intensity gaming, but for everything else it's perfectly fine.
There's a small dining area, and a small sitting area.
Additionally, there's a cellar room with a lot of space, in case that's needed for transitioning between apartments :)
As noted before, please only contact if you are willing to take care of the cats for the period of time I'll be away!
The flat is very LGBTQI+ and international friendly!
