Hi there, as of Just 1st a 18 square meters room will be available. The room is part of a ca. 60 square meters flat located at the 4th floor and comes unfurnished. It is very cozy, bright and spacious and it faces directly the Lanxess Arena. The flat unfortunately doesn't have a living room. However, the nice kitchen or either rooms have always been able to host guests, dinners and small parties. Ah, almost forgot, there is a small balcony that can be accessed from my room (or from the kitchen window) that I am more than happy to share.
Both rooms are quite well isolated between each others and between the outside.
The flat has all the basis amenities such as dishwasher, washing machine (in the keller), bathub, etc. etc. etc.
We do also have a basement in case you would need to store more stuff.
As many of you say, welcome to the dark side of Cologne, the Right one. Deutz is not the most famous quarter for food, bars or clubs but it is a very nice and strategic location that most of you ignore. The Dom and the main station can be reached within 20 min walk or 5 min by tram or s-ban. Kalk is just round the corner and the Rhein is only few min. walk from the flat.
If you have the need to get to any tram, the Deutz station is about 2 min walk where tram 3,4,1,9 or s-ban can bring you anywhere in the city.
There are sevelar options such are rewe, penny, or Denns bio round the corner as well as 24/7 kiosk is case of necessty.
Well you probably wanna know something about me now.
I'm Federico a 28 year old Italian who moved to Cologne to start a new job about a year an a half ago.
Before moving to Cologne I have lived the last three years with a bunch of Germans in a shared flat in the Netherlands, thus I know how to manage live together in a shared space and I am quite accustomed to Germans and their ways to communal live.
I have of course tons of positive attributes grand cook, clean, quite, loud, animal lover, fun, respect other peoples space but also like to share time, food and a drink or two. To make it short I am like all the other humans. I think whats really important is whether we have a good connection and that Is best found out in a face to face conversation.
I am pretty relaxed when it comes to WG-life, like to share food, spaces, time and stories. At the same time I know how to respect people and private spaces.
If you managed to read till this point, you might have noticed that I am still not enough comfortable to write and fluently speak German. However, I am trying to keep myself busy with it, and hopefully you will be the one pushing me through fully Germanize myself.
Waiting for your sweet message!!
