Hey everyone,
Charly here, and I've got an awesome room up for sublet in Lindenthal, Cologne. It's crazy convenient, close to public transport, restaurants, and supermarkets. My place is on the top floor, and the room I'm offering has fantastic natural light since it's an exterior room. It's roomy and fully furnished with a bed, closet, desk, and all that jazz. I've even got some plants, and I'd really appreciate it if the new roomie could give them a little love – it's not too much work, I promise! The apartment has a chill, homey vibe, especially the spacious kitchen and bathroom. You'll be sharing the place with three awesome and friendly roommates.
The best part? The room is a steal compared to other options in the neighborhood. It's only 280€ without services and around 330-350€ with everything included.
If you're interested, feel free to send me a brief description of yourself, your hobbies, occupation, past experiences sharing living spaces with others, and your expectations. ----/-------
The apartment is situated in Lindenthal, a highly connected area. While it may not be at the heart of Cologne's nightlife, it offers its own charm. Charming cafes are scattered nearby, and we're in close proximity to Stadtwald, one of the best parks in Cologne in my personal opinion. The flat is right in front of the S-bahn 13 and a 7-minute walk from either Line 9 or 7, both leading to the inner city. Additionally, buses 146 and 136 regularly pass through Belgisches Viertel, heading towards the city center. Other neighborhoods are easily accessible within a 20-minute bike ride.
You'd be sharing the space with my awesome three roommates:
Matthis:
At 28, Matthis just graduated with a master's in Sport Psychology. He's our WG grandpa because he's been here for ages and brings a wise and supportive presence. Matthis is super sporty, often crafting cool hip bags in his atelier. He radiates positive energy and is always up for a nice chat, board game, or chess round. You'll often find him enjoying his routine porridge breakfast and making nutritious smoothies.
Johana:
Johana is our newest addition to the apartment! She moved in not too long ago, and we lovingly call her "the new one." Johana is incredibly sweet and friendly, currently pursuing her master's studies with regular visits to the university. She enjoys exploring the adorable coffee spots in the neighborhood and goes for a jog regularly in the nearby park.
Julian:
At 25, Julian just returned from an exchange in Norway. He's a Scandinavian studies student but spends most of his time being a drummer in a metal band. Julian is also a teacher, living the life of a musician. He's often on tour but cooks the absolute best curries and Asian recipes. Get ready for some "dad" jokes and crazy drummer life stories.
While we don't expect to do everything together 24/7, we're usually more than happy to play board games, enjoy a nice dinner, or share a beer when we agree on it. It's not a strictly purpose-oriented flatshare, and we prefer people who want to create a pleasant environment where everyone is respected, knows each other, and feels comfortable.
Unfortunately, registration (Anmeldung) is not possible. The room will only be available until the end of March, and there is no option for an extension.
