The 3-rooms-apartment lies on the first floor and sits in Rodenkirchen, next to the big river “Rhein” and with a beautiful view of the green nature which around the whole area. The ground has a basement, a bike room, a little library, a washroom with a washing machine and dryer, an underground car park moreover two caretakers, an elevator and the absolute highlight is, of course, the heated swimming pool.
The newly renovated apartment has two bedrooms, a hallway, a storage room, a bathroom, a large bright living room and a completely new kitchen. There is also a spacious balcony with awning. The apartment is fully furnished, even your room has the basic equipment (bed, two chairs, working desk, book-bord, wardrobe, lights, blanket, pillow, towels). All main rooms have a generous window front, which creates a cosy and bright atmosphere in the whole apartment. The bathroom has a bathtub with a brand new rain-shower. All rooms are decorated in bright, harmonious colours and feature a continuous wood-look floor. The rental price of 450 Euro includes the room rent, electricity, water, internet, garbage service and cleaning service for the stairs, radio charges, entrance to the (private) swimming pool and of course the use of the entire apartment.
To the train station of Rodenkirchen you only need 5 minutes by bike or you take the bus 135, which departs directly in front of the front door. You can take the same bus too if you want to drive to the IKEA or fitness studio. From the train station, you need only 18 minutes to the station “Neumarkt” (the absolute city centre). However, you can drive directly to the centre along the Rhein. The direct location on the Rhein, the fine sandy beach, the beautiful villas, the floodplain forests and poplar avenues make Rodenkirchen a popular attraction and excursion point, especially for young people. Perfect for various sports activities like jogging, cycling or inline skating. Because of this reason the district is one of the wealthiest and safest in Cologne. In center around the Maternusplatz is everything the heart desires for a little shopping trip. Groceries are also available, as cafés, pharmacies and drugstores, shops, banks and restaurants - even on houseboats and ships.
