Looking for roomie on the east side
Room:
We offer you a neat little room the size of a construction trailer. It already contaíns made-to-measure furniture, and you are welcome to take over the bed and wardrobe if you want. If you have more stuff, you can move it to our spacious hallway or our eat-in kitchen. There is enough space and potential for building stuff there, so feel free to go wild, there is definitely still room for designing our common space.
The room is free from March 15th but it's also possible to move in in April.
Location:
The apartment is located in a quiet cross street of the Eisi (Eisenbahnstraße), at the intersection of an eco-minisupermarket and a 2nd hand bookstore in a well-connected neighborhood. Instead of a Saxonian inn, there is makali and baklava. In case the hustle and bustle of the city gets too much, the train station and Mariannen-park are not far.
Living:
Important to us are: a sense of community and kitchen communism. We share the day and most of our things and understand living together as a space based on solidarity.
Oh yes, we're getting a little long in the tooth (we googled this translation and are not sure it's correct - it's supposed to mean we're not the youngest anymore :D) – so if you want to pregame, you have to click on. Instead, there's many coffee and tea breaks, spontaneous dancing in the kitchen to youtube videos, trips to bars and cinemas, well, or whatever is possible at the moment.
Linda: is currently still working in Academia, after work she enjoys fighting for feminist goals in various queer groups or on left-wing demos. Otherwise, she does sports as often as possible, kicks, runs, cycles to clear her head and, above all, to dine properly afterwards, preferably in large quantities.
Jenny: fights with for and against the law, currently in her legal clerkship, does not yet know Leipzig without Corona, but already feels at home here, likes to laugh, discuss, dance wildly, enjoys wild conversations, good-humored madness.
Kali: has been on her four legs for proud four months and makes us happy every day with her wet snout. So you should be fond of animals and open to walking the dog once in a while - especially recommendable in times of lockdown!
Other:
We value respectful interaction. The flat should be a safe space for everyone, i.e. we see ourselves as a non-discriminatory zone in which there is no place for sexism, racism, classicism and mackery.
Please write some sentences about yourself for a first impression. Everything else can follow later in person - we would of course make it corona-compliant and we can meet online first for a first impression before meeting in person with coffee and distance.
