---------- English translation below -------------
Hey!
Lotti (23) studiert Ethonologie in Leipzig.
GaliGrü,
Laura & Lotti
__________________________________________________________
Hey! We are Laura & Lotti and from October on we are looking for a new flatmate for our shared flat in the western part of Leipzig.
We moved in 2020 in a renovated old-building as first-time occupation. Our flat is located in the first floor (we have an elevator). In total we have three bedrooms, a big bathroom with a shower integrated into a bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen (incl. dishwasher) and a balcony with a view into the green. We also have a storage room in our basement compartment.
Your potentially future-bedroom is almost 18qm and is the only room with Stuck of our flat. It has two big windows (side street), with a lot of daylight and a wooden flooring. The room is in a square shape and there is a lot of flexibility given for your furniture ideas.
Our flat is located on the Erich-Zeigner-Allee in the heart of Plagwitz. You just have to walk a few minutes to get to the Karl Heine Street, to the canals and also to Schleußig. There you can find everything that a student heart wishes for: great food, a lot of bars and sweet coffee places. Also Lidl, Rewe and DM are also a few minutes walk away and with the bike you can reach easily a lot of bio-shops, Aldi and Konsum.
The bus stop Erich-Zeigner-Allee and the tram stop Markranstädter Str. are almost directly next to our entrance door. The tram line 3 stops in the city centre, it takes you 15 minutes to get to the central station. If you take the bike you can get to the Auwald in less than 10 minutes, to get to the Clara-Park and to the library of the university (Albertina) it would take you not more than 15 minutes by bike.
We are a shared flat who love to hang out with each other. Within the last two years of the lockdown we spent our time cooking together, playing games and watching series or movies together. In the summer time we spend most of our time on the balcony and grab a beer together, go to the lake, brose around on flea markets or grab a cake.
It is important for us to have a considerate living situation with each other, we appreciate an open and respectful communication. We understand if someone needs time for themselves. We use the app flatastic to manage our shared flat expenses and organize our cleaning schedule.
About us:
We are both students and so far, we’ve been a vegetarian shared flat. We would love to keep it that way. In general, we try to have a sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle.
Laura (25) is the main tenant since her parents are our landlords. She is studying cultural and media education in Merseburg and is going to write her bachelor thesis this year. Laura is our creative diy-expert: If she isn’t crocheting, knitting or doing macramee, she is working at the krimZkrams, an urban makerspace in the Georg-Schwarz-Straße.
Lotti (23) studies Anthropology in Leipzig. Lotti has some crafting skills and loves to work with wood. She already did build some things for the flat. Laura and Lotti love to put their heads together, to come up with new ideas, what they can build together. Their skills compliment each other. When you don't see Lotti using her crafting tools, you'll find her in her hammock outside, enjoying the nice weather. She is always happy if you join her and go to bouldering or play table tennis with her.
We also have a parttime dog, who comes over at least once a week. He is quite shy and needs a bit of time to get used to people, but once he got used to you he loves to play with you and also really likes to go on long walks. We love to have animals in our life, so if you have a little friend they are also welcome.
There are a lot of students and young families living in our building. We have a good relationship with each other (receiving packages, borrowing butter for baking, playing beer pong etc.) and we have a whatsapp-group to communicate.
Please tell us a little bit about you: Why are you moving to Leipzig? How do you like to spend your free time? What do you look for in a living situation?
We look forward to meeting you! :)
Best,
Laura & Lotti
