Hi there ! I am looking for 2 new flatmates to start a cozy wg in Südvorstadt in February.
The rent is *between 350 and 370* for this 17.5-18 sqm. For being in such a good location I find it a reasonable price in relation to the size of the flat. The community in the building is very helpul and charming and the landlord is also always asking if there's anyting to be done/fixed. The rent can also be lower depending on our gas/electricity consumption, I made this estimates based on previous tenants but of course each wg is different.
The flat is 87.5 sqm, situated in an nice old building in Karli just above the Carls Laden caffee. The flat is on the 3rd floor, it has 3 rooms ( one of which I will be occupying ) a kitchen, a bathroom, a spacious hallway and a large storage room within the flat as well as a smaller one on the stairway. All of the rooms have a high ceiling so it gives a nice impression.
The medium room is about 17~18 sqm, the window faces the main street and it is the room that has the balcony ;) so in summer you can enjoy your morning coffee there and it is quite well illuminated. The floor is made of wood. Since it is an old building, on one of the corners it has an antique dark green heather (see pictures) which makes the rthere'sok very elegant (theres another bigger one in the room in which i will be staying). Also, in the pictures you can see that the walls are painted in a dark gray/blue color... I found it depressing so I asked the landlord to paint them and they will be white by then.
During January the bathroom will be renovated and the kitchen will be repainted and made more cozy, so I will be uploading these pictures later.
Theres a netto a street away, a pharmacy and a bakery. Along Karli you find bars, cafes, restaurants and tons of interesting shops. Connections to lines 10 and 11 are 2 minutes walking and to bus lines 60 and 74 are a couple of steps away. You get to the city center in about 15 minutes walking and in 10 you get to the main station with lines 10 and 11.
I am Niccole, 25, my native language is spanish (but I will be learning german soon) currently doing my PhD in evolutionary anthropology, basically I am interested in humans and why we are the way we are. I've lived in shared apartments for ~6 years. When I am not at my desk ( which consumes quite a big part of my day ) I like being active and doing sports ( gym, swimming, learning to rollerskate... just moving ) and when feeling creativeI like to try my hand at new crafts( oil painting, crosstitching, scrapbooks... ) or just wandering around the city looking for cozy cafes to read. I like going to pub quizzes, boardgames nights, movie evenings, maybe having a drink together from time to time. I also like going to museums, concerts, exhibitions but a walk in nature is always needed.
For me home is a place to be oneself and escape from the hustles of the outside world. I don't intend it to be a party flat, but of course if it's your birthday it would be more than appropriate to celebrate. I want to live with caring, honest and genuine people. I consider myself a calm and very loving person, so I wish to find people to live in a happy coexistence and that we can rely on each other and not only be strangers. Some basic sense or order and cleanliness is also important, if you prefer it we can make a cleaning schedule.
Since it is a new flat that is being founded there is a lot of space for you to put your input into its decoration and ways of making it even cozier so that everyone can feel at home.
The rent said includes WiFi electricity etc, the 6 extra euros are for the dumb radio tax we as a flat have to pay.
The 10 extra are just so we can have a pot to put money in in case we need stuff for the flat (e.g. more plates, if something breaks, if we want to buy a boardgame etc)
*The 300 are to accoutn for the partial furnishing of the flat, I bought some of the stuff from the previous tenant for us, such as the kitchen, washing machine, mirror...as well as cooking/kitchen equipment. *You don't have to pay this all at once*
Ideally, I would prefer someone that can stay more than 6 months, at least a year.
Also I prefer if you are vaccinated since I get tested every M-W-F at my workplace and I wouldn' t like putting my colleagues at risk nor having to work myself again from home.
If you are interest please tell me a little bit about you and contact me through this platform.
Also if you have puppies or cats we can tak about it with the landlord ( he's very flexible, we just need to see that the 🐕/🐈 ) gets along with the dog that lives downstairs.
