Hello,

Hello,
on 01.07 I, Lasse, will leave Leipzig after many years and with it also my beloved shared flat. Hence, we are looking for a new person who wants to live together in our beautiful apartment. Since an old roommate will possibly move back into the flat next spring, the room will be given away for a limited period of time until March 2024. In the fall, the situation will be clarified, so that there may then also be the possibility of staying long-term. Until March, however, the room is free in any case.
The apartment is a renovated old building with very high ceilings and beautiful wooden floors. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, but unfortunately there is no window. At our kitchen we have a sunny balcony and a garden, which we can use together with the house community. In addition, there's a ping-pong table right by the garden. We also have a practical bicycle cellar with access directly from the street.
The room is about 22 m², has parquet, a fancy double door and stucco en masse. Since there are two soundproofed windows facing Kurt-Eisner-Str., there is surprisingly much light in the room and it is quiet, despite the high ground floor.
Our apartment is almost on the corner of Kurt Eisner/Karli. You can get to the main train station within 10-15 minutes, by streetcar or bike. Directly nearby is the Fockeberg with the Auwald and Clara-Zetkin-Park for walking. For shopping Konsum (1min), as well as Netto and Aldi (5min) are also nearby.
WG-Life
You would live with Frances and David.
live together. They are very sweet, active and communicative flatmates. In the meantime, they have all made the step from university into the working world, so we are no longer a classic student flat-sharing community, but socializing is celebrated here. Living together with the two of them is very relaxed, there are rarely flat-sharing parties, but there are nice barbecues in the garden or table tennis tournaments. We like to meet in the kitchen, cook together and chat about everything that's going on or go out together. The apartment is a good place to retreat to, where you can feel at home and where people are considerate of each other.
David (27) works freelance in all kinds of areas of film, especially music and sound design. For this he travels a lot and hangs out with risotto farmers in Italy for a documentary, for example. He is an enthusiastic cook and enjoys playing piano and table tennis or exploring the Leipzig music scene.
Frances (26) is a sports and nutrition scientist and is currently founding a start up for cycle-based training. She enjoys sports and being out and about a lot, likes to go dancing and is always up for cooking events or outings.
A solidary and open-minded attitude in living together is important to us. Therefore, we have no place in the flat for conspiracy theories or Covid deniers, racism, sexism and other -isms.
Feel free to write us if you are interested, we are looking forward to getting to know you!
Frances, David and Lasse :)
