Looking for two rooms in a cozy flat!

Hello future roommates!

I’m Lud/Milo (they/them) and I’ll be moving to Luneburg to start my master in Cultural Studies in the Leuphana University for the winter semester.

I’m looking for two rooms since my partner, Pedro (he/him), is also moving to Luneburg with me.
We both like to have our own space and believe in building a community that’s not couple-based, so our main interest is to find a place that has two spare rooms.

Although we’re both brazilians, we met in Lisbon while I was doing a fashion course and Pedro was working as an assistant for a portuguese photographer while studying communication and arts. We’ve been living together since 2020 in shared apartments, so this won’t be a new dynamic for us.

We’re both queer & vegetarians and love baking cakes making every coffee break a bit more special with a sweet. We also like the idea of dinners with friends, watching movies together and bonding with roommates so that we have a shared home and not just be living next to each other.

For us, it’s very important to be in a place that shares the care for the house and wish to create a comfortable, cozy environment. We’re also very clean regarding community spaces and we hold the feeling that communication is always key to build plans and organizational practices together, so that nobody is overcharged and we can adapt depending on each other’s demands in different moments.

We don’t smoke or own pets, but we don’t mind smoking and, in Brazil, we both had pets in our families, so it wouldn’t be a problem, we’d actually love.

Pedro studied cinema in Brazil and later went to Lisbon to continue his education. He did a specialization on photography that led him to work as an assistant to photographers, films and publicity campaigns. He also has some experience in digitizing negatives and archive work. At the moment, he is finishing his master thesis and will be looking for a job in the area.

As for myself, I did a bachelor in media studies in Brazil and a specialization in people management, which led me to work as project manager in publicity agencies and cultural organizations. During the pandemic, I had the opportunity to go to Lisbon for a fashion design course and worked as social media for a cinema festival as well. I’m looking forward to making new friends, enjoying the masters and finding a part-time job, although sometimes I still take on remote projects for Brazilian agencies.
