American in Magdeburg

Heya! I'm an incoming Masters student at OVGU from the US. In addition to English, I speak Romanian (lived in Moldova for 3 years), forgot all my Spanish, intend to learn German, and would like to learn Ukrainian. Despite being an introvert, I also like to dance until the sun comes up so let's check out what Magdeburg has to offer eh? I'm open both to a temporary accommodation to acclimate myself to Magdeburg or something more long-term. I prefer a flat of mixed genders, but ultimately it doesn't matter too too much. I'm 36 but get along with all ages (children to grandparents!), so the age range does not matter much to me though I do prefer there aren't children in the flat... I like traveling (don't we all?), dancing (poorly), board games, reading, video games, and exploring cities (much more a city person than nature person).
