The Apartment:
I moved into this apartment in April of last year with my best friend. Originally designed as a three-person shared space, we repurposed it, converting the smallest room into a living room, and I would like to keep it that way. The entrance hallway of the apartment features a compact kitchen and a small yet usable bathroom, which offer convenient access to all rooms.
Your Room:
Your room is approximately 17m² and comes equipped with:
- 1 wardrobe measuring 200x120x60 cm
- 1 bed measuring 200x90 cm (The one shown in the picture is 140x200, which we purchased; the original one is still available)
- 1 desk
- 1 desk chair
- 1 wall shelf with 6 compartments
- 1 side container
- 1 desk lamp

The Kurmainz Kaserne or Berliner Straße stops are just a 5-minute walk away. From there, tram lines 50, 51, and 52 provide easy access to the city. Schillerplatz is only a 9-minute tram ride away, while the main train station can be reached in 13 minutes.
For those preferring to cycle, the university is reachable in 15 minutes via a dedicated cycle path, while the university hospital is a mere 10-minute bike ride away.
The dormitory is in a peaceful area next to a vast field, which is perfect for jogging. A Rewe supermarket is within a 5-minute walk. Additionally, bakeries, ATMs, a pharmacy, and a doctor are all located within a 5-minute walk from the dormitory. Also, there is a possibility of renting a parking space or parking on the street free of charge if needed.

Hey there!
Since my best friend is moving closer to Saarland, I'm looking for a new flatmat. I recently finished my master's degree at TH Bingen, and I can't extend my stay in the dorm anymore. Therefore, I will be moving out at the end of September, or a bit earlier. Maybe then you could take over the whole apartment with a friend, or we could find a new flatmate together.
I'm Suhib, and after my studies, I started working full-time as a sustainability specialist, mainly from home. So, don't be surprised if you see me moving around with my laptop from the kitchen to the living room and back to my room. Feel free to make noise; I've got my noise-canceling headphones on during meetings, so I won't get distracted.
Apart from work, I enjoy playing billiards, chess, hitting the gym, or just going for walks. I'm also a big fan of cooking, and I'd be happy to share recipes and meals with you. On weekends, if I'm not traveling, you'll probably find me out for drinks with my friends, and on some rare occasions, I might be dancing to techno.
What matters most to me in a flatmate is cleanliness and open communication. I value tolerance and open-mindedness and prefer to surround myself with like-minded people :) .

Just a heads up about the rent for the room: it covers all the furniture currently in your room, so there is no need to worry about extra costs there. However, my friend and I have decked out the living room and kitchen with lots of stuff that we've both pitched in for. Since we split the cost, my friend would like to sell you his share of the items.
Of course, we can chat more about this once you've had a chance to see the apartment and all the stuff. These include shelves, drawers, a small oven for the kitchen, and everything you see in the picture of the living room. But no stress; we can iron out the details later. I just wanted to give you a heads up that we're only considering applicants who are cool with this arrangement, as it makes things smoother for everyone, especially those looking to move in ASAP.
