The room is located in the heart of the city, right next to Marktplatz.
It is a nice room of 15m2, with good heating on the 4th flour of the building (we have an elevator).
It has 3 windows which let in a lot of light during the day.
The landlord will provide you with a bed, a chair, a table and a closet if you want (the stuff in the photos is mine).
The kitchen is furnished with material from everyone, it has all you need to cook. We even have a working oven and 4 fridges so that there is space for everyone's food).
In the flat we have 2 separate toilets(women/men) and one big bathroom with a shower and a tub.
I leave the room on the 18th of December, so you can move in as soon as you want after that date and at the latest beginning January.
Possibility to buy the mattress and the table for 80€
The flat has one of the best location you could find in Mannheim, right in the center of the Quadrate:
Less than 2 minutes away from the tram station "Marktplatz"
A 10 minute walk to the University of Mannheim.
Lidle & Penny 2 minutes away.
Lots of restaurants (Steakhouse, Thai food, Sushi, Döner...) located around it.
The flat is made up of 9 rooms.
The people living here are from various nationalities (France, Chili, Swiss, Germany, Spain). They are all very kind, fun, respectful and we learn a lot from each other.
Living with 9 people is not as bad as it may seem. Indeed, there is rarely all 9 inhabitants in the flat at the same time, we all have different timetables so there is never any problems regarding the shower or the kitchen.
Some of us sometimes eat together in the flat.
Living with these guys enables you to make new friends if you want. It is a very good flat to live in. I've made some of my best memories in Mannheim with these flatmates.
