Hey, great that you're here! My name is Johannes. Would you like to create a loving, ecological living community together? I've found a cozy house in Ramersdorf with a beautiful garden (a dream coming true). Now I'm searching for three more people who are enthusiastic to create a wonderful home together. If that sounds inspiring to you, I'm looking forward to your message! Here are some more facts, later on I'll write more about myself and my ideas :)
The house has three floors, with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a terrace, a balcony with garden view, two bathrooms and an additional toilet for guests, four rooms of different sizes, and even a basement with another usable room. So there's lots of space for creativity! We can plant vegetables and herbs in the garden, store food for the winter, design a guest/DIY/meditation room in the basement, put a piano in the living room, build furniture, make the terrace even nice, or whatever we enjoy doing :)
Room 1 (1st floor): 20 m2 + 4 m2 balcony, basic rent 830 EUR
Room 2 (1st floor): 8 m2, basic rent 410 EUR
Room 3 (2nd floor): 15 m2, basic rent 660 EUR
Room 4 (2nd floor): 13 m2 with a gallery newly built into the rooftop, basic rent 620 EUR
In addition, we'll have to share the cost for electricity, water, heating and fast internet, which I estimate to be 60 EUR/month if we're not too wasteful - the entire house has been fully refurbished with improved insulation. I know, those are the tough Munich rents, but we'll have the kitchen, living room, garden and basement for us all to share :) the move-in date is flexible between January 1st and February 1st.
The terraced house is in Ramersdorf in a calm byway, in a relaxed area with many families. The bus stop Adilostraße is at 5 minutes walking distance, from which you can quickly reach Karl-Preis-Platz (subway) and the Ostbahnhof, also at night. Funnily enough there's a garden center just around the corner if we want to get wild in the garden :) there's also some nice green, which leads you to Ostpark and Hachinger Bach, just nearby. It's probably most convenient if you enjoy cycling, then it'd take you 20-25 minutes to the center and the Isar, 10 minutes to Perlacher Forst, and around 30 minutes to the Riemer See for swimming in the summer :)
A few words about me, so you can get a first impression if we might click :) I'm 26 years old, finished my Master's degree in August and then cycled around for a months to learn more about communal living and permaculture. In the beginning of January I'll now move to Munich to work on the energy transition in a think tank. Sustainability is very dear to my heart, with regards to my personal energy, relationships with others, and our society as a whole. I love spending time in nature, preferably with a tent, touring skis, or hiking boots. Otherwise I really enjoy chilled evenings with friends, going to concerts, events, and partying from time to time. Close and intentional connections with other people are important to me, as well as further exploring my spirituality and connection to nature. Right now I'm in a big reading phase again, about feminism, an alternative economic system, philosophical topics... and I always enjoy sharing and discussing about these things. I also love making and listening to music, ideally with other people - I've learned playing the guitar during the cycling trip :) and I'd like to follow my newly discovered interest in acroyoga and dance in Munich, next to getting involved more in politics, e.g. in the climate justice movement or for a sustainable urban development.
For me, a conscious and communal life together with other people and in connection to nature is really important. I have a few ideas for that already, and would love to shape and expand them together! :) With conscious community I imagine that we're all empathetic, caring and supportive towards one another, creating a home where everyone is fully comfortable. Regarding sustainability, eating vegan and local is important for me, I'd love to plant some vegetables in the garden, participate in a Solidary Agriculture Cooperative around Munich, and find some really nice furniture second-hand. I have a wonderful image in my head of a joyful home where friends are always welcome, we can be creative, make music together and have the occasional party :) a home where everyone feels safe, there's no place for any form of discrimination, and where we inspire each other to change society for the better.
Lastly, it's important to me that we all have the Covid-19 vaccination (unless there are medical reasons against).
Wow, that was a long text :) thanks for reading! If all of this resonates, I'd be very happy to receive a message from you where you write a bit about yourself, your ideas and wishes for our community, and the things close to your heart. Then we can have a call in the next few days :)
All the best
Johannes
