The apartment consists of 4 rooms which you will have one room of (the other 3 rooms are occupied by your flat mates), a kitchen with a seating space, a bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment is on the first floor. Downstairs you can park your bike and where you can throw away the trash. There is no elevator.
The room itself is 11 qm and is fully furnished. There is a bed and under the bed you can find drawers for more storage space. There is also a wardrobe, a desk and another closet where you can put stuff in. There is also one big window which makes it light in the room and there are curtains. And I have purchased a drying rack where you can hang your clothes on because there is no dryer in the house.
The apartment is situated in a quiet area of Munich but still very close to the city centre. In the surroundings you can find a bakery, ReWe and the Euroshop. You can reach the Edeka, DM and the Woolworth by bike in 10 minutes or with the tram only 7 minutes which is 4 stops.
In front of the house there is a tram stop which is only 2 minutes to walk. You can reach by tram the U1 at Wettersteinplatz in only 4 minutes and the U1 takes you directly to Marienplatz, Hauptbahnhof or further. Even at night you can reach home because there is a night tram. Also opposite of the house is a football club which also plays in the stadium a little bit down the street.
If you bike then it takes only 20 minutes to the city centre. There is also enough parking space in front of the house if you have a car. And if you need a bike shop, there is one down south and is only 10 minutes walk.
You are also very close to the nature because you are very close to the Isar and the Zoo. It is only 10 minutes walk down the hill before you reach the Isar and can enjoy the beautiful nature.
I am moving out of this house because I am going back to the Netherlands. You are going to live with Sunit, Nurlan and Kapil. Sunit is from India and finishing up his studies, writing at the moment his thesis and working. Nurlan is from Azerbaijan and is also a student and just started with his studies. At last, there is Kapil also from India and he is working from home. We have a cleaning schedule so we rotate the rooms so every weekend somebody is off and the rest cleans a room of the apartment.
This apartment is social but we all still have our own lives. But from time to time we hang out in the kitchen and talk about how our days were. Sometimes we go out for dinner or a movie. The room is perfect for students or people that work because we are looking for people that stay a longer time.
So if you are looking for a WG that is still social but where you can also do your own thing, then this should be perfect for you!
Other things to mention is that I leave some things behind because they are too big to take with me to the Netherlands and they come in handy when you move in here. So that is the extra closet that I purchased, the drying rack and in the kitchen we all bought together the microwave, the trashcan and the toaster which makes the extra costs about € 100,00. The deposit is € 1500.
When you like my post about the room, please let me know. Please let me know a little bit about you and a picture and then maybe we can set up a visit in the apartment or an online visit. Me and my roommates are looking forward to get to know you!
