Swedish IT professional moving to Munich

Hallo!

I'm Fredrik, a Swedish guy who is moving to Munich for a job within IT consulting. I am now looking for a room in shared accommodation over a longer term (ideally at least 6 months). I prefer a room that is furnished, but it is not mandatory.

I am a tidy person who always cleans up after himself, and I think being respectful towards others is always important, but when sharing a flat together this becomes even more critical. I greatly enjoy living with others and find it a great way of meeting people. I like cooking together, sharing a drink or just hanging out with my roomies. I try to have an active lifestyle with lots of travel and sports, and generally enjoy when there is a lot of stuff going on.

In Stockholm where I'm from, sharing accommodation is unusual but I have previously done it in Australia and Spain whilst doing exchange semesters, and in New Zealand where I was travelling and working. I have great experiences from all of these and would happily provide references.

I'm practicing German but it is at fairly useless level right now. It would be awesome to stay with some German speakers to push the learning curve!
