Friendly, tidy, and outgoing 26 year old British PhD student looking for a room in Munich :)

Hallo, ich heiße Alex und bin ein 26-jähriger Brite, der im August nach München gezogen ist, um an der LMU zu promovieren. Ich bin ziemlich aufgeregt, in eine so coole Stadt zu ziehen und suche derzeit nach Orten zum Leben und netten Menschen zum Leben.

Ein bisschen über mich: Im Moment lebe ich mit meiner Freundin und zwei anderen Mitbewohnern in einer WG in London. Ich habe in den letzten 5 Jahren in vielen verschiedenen Wohngemeinschaften gelebt, daher bin ich kein Unbekannter, wenn es darum geht, harmonisch mit anderen zu leben, und helfe gerne bei der Reinigung und anderen Haushaltsaufgaben. Derzeit arbeite ich für eine Wohltätigkeitsorganisation in London, um Unterrichtsmaterialien für Physiklehrer zu schaffen, aber in München werde ich in der akademischen Philosophie arbeiten. Ich würde in den LMU-Büros eine normale 9-5-Routine haben, die meine Recherchen durchführt.

Wenn ich nicht arbeite, bin ich ein begeisterter Kletterer / Skifahrer / Wanderer und liebe es, Zeit im Freien in den Bergen zu verbringen. Um ehrlich zu sein, verbringe ich auch viel Zeit mit Klettertraining, deshalb bin ich oft beim Laufen, Skifahren oder in der Turnhalle / beim Bouldern. Ich bin auch häufig auf Klettertouren am Wochenende und manchmal für längere Zeit, wenn ich ins Ausland gehe. Neben dem Klettern interessiere ich mich auch für Fotografie, gelegentlich für Konzerte, Kochen und Kaffee!

Insgesamt bin ich ein ruhiger, ordentlicher und respektvoller Mensch, der keine Party-Wohnung sucht, sondern ein paar freundliche Leute, die ab und zu mal ein Abendessen kochen und sich bei einem Bier unterhalten. Hello, my name is Alex and I am a 26 year old British guy moving to Munich in August to take a doctoral fellowship at the LMU. I'm pretty excited to be moving to such a cool city and I'm currently looking for places to live and nice people to live with.

A bit about me: at the moment I live in a shared flat (WG) in London with my girlfriend and two other housemates. I have lived in many different shared flats for the last 5 years so I am no stranger to living harmoniously with others, and am very happy to help out with the cleaning and other household tasks. In terms of employment, I currently work for a charity in London creating educational resources for physics teachers but in Munich I'll be working in academic philosophy. I would have a standard 9-5 routine at the LMU offices doing my research.

When I'm not working, I am a very keen climber/skier/hiker and love spending time outdoors in the mountains. To be honest, I spend a lot of time training for climbing as well, so I'm often out running, skiing, or at the gym/bouldering wall. I'm also frequently away on climbing trips on weekends, and sometimes for longer periods if I go abroad. Other than climbing, I'm also interested in photography, occasionally going to concerts, cooking and coffee!

Overall, I'm a quiet, tidy and respectful person who is not looking for a party flat, but rather some friendly people to occasionally cook dinner with and chat over a beer now and again.
