Professional fluent in stupid humour but not so fluent in German (yet) looking for flatshare

Hi my name is Christian and I am a 27 year old man from Liverpool, England. I work as a construction cost consultant / quantity surveyor and I'm moving to München for the first time to work on behalf of a major tech company

My interests are not too out of the ordinary, I like travelling, festivals, snowboarding, hiking, irregularly working out, watching football, reading, beer etc. I am a relaxed guy who gets on well with everyone unless they have a dislike of rubbish jokes and puns

As I am moving to München knowing very few people, a communal flatshare would be great as I have been doing this for the last 7 years and I have made a lot of friends this way. Particularly people who like snowboarding or skiing (I'm definitely not pro or even close to semi-pro but it would be nice to have people to go with), techno sets and festivals, or if you have an interesting personality and like to go and try new things. Preferably not couples or people who would party every weekday until 5am (weekends then you are more than welcome) but other than that I do not mind if you work regular hours, a shift pattern, or if you are a student. There is obviously a balance with the social aspect of a communal flatshare and being left in peace and quiet is also nice sometimes too

Probably the most important thing to mention is that my German is basic - at the moment I can ask for things, find toilets and not get on the wrong train, but if you start to talk to me about my opinions on the Game of Thrones finale or deep philosophical questions then I will have to start nodding with a polite smile on my face. I am learning but I certainly respect any decision around refusing me a place in your flat share due to this potential barrier

With the more administrative details, I start working remote from where I live now at the beginning of November but would look to move mid-November or the start of December at the latest on a long term basis. I am happy to discuss with whatever works best for you and any specific arrangements with the transfer of furniture or things like this. I am also open to the idea of starting a new flatshare
