Your future room goes west and is turned away from the street, so it is pleasantly quiet but bright. The apartment is a two-room apartment with shared kitchen and bathroom. We have a terrace and a small garden where you can also barbecue in summer. In the attic is a large compartment and a drying room, in addition we have a bicycle shed in front of the house, so space to store things is enough. The apartment is rented by the GSG in case of problems it is therefore super uncomplicated and a craftsman comes very quickly.
The wg-life is always very uncomplicated, it is just important that you always make sure that the apartment stays clean. But that has always worked so far.
I am at the end of my studies and will not be in Oldenburg for so long. It is not yet clear when I will move away. Each room has its own rental contract, which means the cost does not change significantly when a person moves out.
Location
Also the apartment is very nicely located. Right next door is the Hunte and a large meadow, where people from the neighbouring houses meet from time to time in the summer. These houses are mainly occupied by students, which leads to a very pleasant climate and you always get to know new people. Also it is pleasantly quiet during cloistered times and you can work well.
Within 5min distance there are 3 bus stops and 3 supermarkets (Active, Aldi, Denns). There is also a gym nearby and you are immediately in the city centre. To university you need about 20-25 min by bus or by bike about 15 min.
