The room is exceptionally bright, thanks to a large window that floods the space with light. Although it's the smallest and most affordable room in the apartment, its cozy ambiance and high ceilings give it a surprisingly spacious feel. Spanning 15 square meters, it is currently fully furnished. However, I will be taking most of the furniture with me when I move out, leaving it unfurnished for your arrival. Thus, bringing your own furniture will be essential.
The kitchen boasts ample storage space, complemented by a small pantry where you can store everything from food to cleaning supplies. Despite the table being quite small, it offers a wonderful spot to enjoy evenings with friends, sharing time together in a cozy setting. Presently, there are 3 chairs around the table.
The small loggia provides a perfect retreat to bask in the sunshine and savor the warmth. My flatmates and I cherish reading a book in this serene spot.
In terms of amenities, the flatshare is exceptionally well-equipped. The building has undergone comprehensive renovation, meaning that the living spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, pipes, etc., are all brand new. The bathrooms and kitchen not only look appealing but are also modern in design. The kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator, stove/oven, and dishwasher. Additionally, washing machine and dryer facilities are readily available.
Utility costs such as electricity, water, and heating are included in the service charges. Telephone or internet connections are managed internally by the flatshare members.
The building's caretaker is responsible for cleaning, winter services, garbage disposal, etc.
Additionally, there is space in the entrance to park a bicycle, adding a convenient option for those who prefer cycling.
Within a 10-minute walk, one can reach the center of Reutlingen. A mere 2-minute walk from the apartment is the Reutlingen West bus stop, which provides direct access to the university, and a train station that can take you to Tübingen in 15 minutes. Supermarkets are conveniently located about a 5-minute walk away.
The shared apartment is undergoing a complete reformation, as my room will be fully available, another room is becoming available for one semester, and yet another room will be vacated. Our shared living situation is far from being merely functional. We enjoy spending evenings together, cooking communally, and generally enjoying each other's company. Of course, should anyone need their personal time, that is completely respected and possible!
As mentioned, two rooms in the apartment will soon be vacant, so you are welcome to bring a friend along or assist in selecting the next roommate.
If you have a car, all you need is a resident parking permit, as parking spots are generally always available. The property is exclusively rented to students, meaning everyone has a roughly similar daily routine, and it's easy to meet new people from a wide variety of university programs.
