Master student (26F) Looking for a flat (shared)

Hi there! I'm searching for a room to rent at the end of September. I'm moving all the way from Mexico and I'm hoping to find a shared flat to save some money and also to avoid feeling too lonely.

About me:
I was born 26 years ago in Cancun, Mexico. Being raised in such a popular tourist destination, meeting people from all over the world was a regular thing for me. Although I may be a bit reserved at first, I consider myself warm and accepting. I am always open to hearing from people with different lifestyles and perspectives than my own.

I am passionate about learning, which is why I am moving to Siegen to pursue a master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction. This also means that I am a bit of a nerd, and I love discussing topics related to technology and design. I enjoy reading books with troubled characters, as well as non-fiction related to technology, culture, and society. Some of my favorite fiction books include The Catcher in the Rye, My Year of Rest and Relaxation, and The Bell Jar. Among my hobbies, I enjoy playing indie games on my Switch, with Stardew Valley being my current obsession.

I am a native Spanish and English speaker, and I am currently working diligently to improve my German skills at an A2 level.

I will most likely continue working remotely part-time as a UX designer (either at home or the school library) unless it interferes with my workload at school. On weekends, I like to go out to enjoy nature and ocassionally go dancing to techno music. I also enjoy attending concerts, so I will always be on the lookout for events in nearby cities (currently planning to see King Krule in Cologne in October).

Additionally, I am a clean person and a great cook, so I can prepare authentic Mexican dishes for you!
