Hallo!
I am moving back to the states at the end of this month and am looking to sublet my room for the entire month of February (earliest move in date: January 30).
The apartment is on Brückenstraße in Bad Cannstatt. It’s a lovely location with many shops and cafes right across the river, it is a 3 minute walk to the Rosensteinbrücke U-Bahn stops (U13, U14, and U16) and adjacent to bus lines 52 and 56.
The room will come furnished with a bed (with storage underneath), a desk, a shelf, and a wardrobe. I am currently looking to get rid of a lot of my things, so if you are interested in any of the following, please let me know. I am happy to leave things here for you for a small fee:
-Bedding (pillows, sheets, comforter)
-Rugs (2x)
-Coat Rack
-Baskets (3 small, 1 large that I used for laundry)
-Fan
-Lamps (2x)
-Makeup/vanity items (organizer, mirror, tray)
-Plants :-)
-WLAN/Wi-Fi router
The room is part of a 13 person WG. There are 2 kitchens, so you will only be sharing yours with 5 other people. I have lots of kitchen ware I am happy to leave for you for a small fee. Additionally, I have many pantry items I am happy to leave for free (grains, spices, oils, vinegars, baking items, etc.) There are separate men’s and women’s shower rooms and toilet rooms. The people here are both German natives and other international students/young professionals, and everyone is super friendly, respectful, and clean.
A cleaning person comes every Monday to wipe the floors and shared surfaces, so the WG stays very clean.
There is a clothes washer in the basement, and we now have a communal drying rack that stays in the kitchen and can be used by everyone (I am also happy to leave my clothes line and clips if you would like).
Please feel free to contact me with any questions! I look forward to subletting you my room :-))
