The room is a part of a big single house converted to a WG for six people. The room occupies the complete top floor under the roof and is intended for a single person, but can theoretically host two. It has its own bathroom with two sinks, a shower, and a toilet. The rent is 970 Euros. The move-in date is April 1st, but an earlier date can be discussed. The house itself has two kitchens with two fridges and two stoves, a living room, a dining room, a laundry room, a cellar, a garden, and a terrace. Various amenities are available in the house: good vibes, two microwaves, two washing machines, a clothes dryer, cute plants, a projector for the best movie nights, a great sound system, a printer/scanner, occasionally Gandhi (a super friendly dog) and a garden grill for amazing barbecues.
The house is located near Erwin-Schoettle-Platz, Marienplatz and above the Schwabtunnel. It overlooks the city and is along the hillside, offering a spectacular view. You can reach Schwabstraße (s-bahn station) in 10 minutes, and Erwin-Schoettle-Platz (u-bahn station) in 5 minutes. There is also Bus 42 stopping 4 minutes away from the house (Schickhardtschule stop). The house is at walking distance from all Stuttgart West best locations and cafés for brunches. You can be in Marienplatz in 10 minutes and grab a pizza and a beer in the lively area.
Alex, Tarick, Matteo, Mickey, and me (Francesca) are five PhD students. We are all easy-going and open-minded people who really love living at the house and make sure that there are only good vibes around. We throw some parties from time to time, have movie nights and eat together when we can. As PhD students, we all have our own things going on and are often not at home dueing working hours, but we tend to hang out during evenings or weekends. We like going to Galao sometimes and listening to live music. Francesca is into sport and dance. Matteo likes cooking Italian dishes. Mickey provides good vibes and also tasty dishes. Tarick and Alex are into electronics and quantum computing.
Alex and Tarick share one little kitchen. So you would mostly only share the kitchen with Matteo, Mickey and me.
