The apartment comes with three common rooms: an entrance room with a table that serves as a dining room and a place to store coats and shoes, a small kitchen that has a stove and oven as well as a washing machine, and a living room with a large sofa. You may not like climbing the 4 stories up to the flat (no elevator, sorry!), but the best thing about the apartment are the two balconies that overlook the city where you can keep plants or have a cup of coffee.
The room for rent has a north- west facing window. The cost listed includes all utilities and the radio tax. Furniture can be purchased from the previous tenant for a cost of 200 euros. This includes the 140x200 mattress and slatted frame, the two shelves in the corner, the clothing storage.
The location of the apartment is one of the best you can get in Stuttgart! Right outside the building there is a bus stop that will take you to the main station in 15 minutes. Within 5 minutes walking you can get to connections for U2, U4 and U29 U-Bahns. In 15 minutes walking you can get to the Schwabstrasse S-Bahn stop, which is only one stop away from the Uni Stuttgart Vaihingen campus. There are many cafes, restaurants, and parks nearby.
About us:
Allison (26, from the US) works at the University of Stuttgart as a doctoral researcher in computational linguistics. She speaks English, French, Spanish, and learning more. Allison likes dancing, baking and cooking vegan food, and hiking. Vasco(27, from Spain) works at a Spanish restaurant and speaks Spanish, German, and English. Vasco loves to cook. If he's not playing his Switch, you can find him in the kitchen, making food that he's more than happy to share with you. He also likes playing football and going out for a chill beer. We are a couple and share one of the bedrooms.
About our WG-life:
Our flat offers a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for students or young professionals. We're not a zweck-WG and on weekends we go out for a drink or have a meal together with our current flatmate, but generally everyone lives by their own schedule. We value cleanliness and plan to establish a cleaning schedule with our new flatmate. If you're seeking a harmonious and living environment with two language enthusiasts and culinary aficionados, we'd love to hear from you! Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate smokers or pets. We are open to considering both long and short term contracts.
