Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut...it sucks. But I am learning and enjoy practicing. I am a 27 year old Masters student at the university and I am searching for a new roommate. I come from the USA and speak English well and French conversational. The room that is available is about 15m squared and is unfurnished. My flatmate is moving out by March 1st and may leave a few things but he is not sure, so we will say the room is unfurnished.
The rest of the flat is furnished. There is a bathroom, kitchen, balcony with potted plants, and common area. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, and a washing machine. My roommate and I have hardly been at the apartment this semester since we have been so busy, but occasionally we have cooked together and have small parties together. The neighbors are older people and will occasionally complain about sound but it is not a problem. I will have 3 to 10 people over for dinners or parties every once in a while. I would not mind a roommate who parties more or parties less. I am very laid back and relaxed and I like to keep the apartment clean. However I am not a clean freak and occasionally skip cleaning for a week. Basically I am searching for someone friendly, happy, sociable, and with a good sense of humor because I make a lot of stupid jokes ;)
About a 10 minute walk to the Hauptbahnhof.
One minute walk to a bus stop that takes you to universitat in 10 minutes.
Supermarkts are close. City center is a short bus ride or about a 15 minute walk to the porta negra.
I am simple and like laughing, movies, and partying. But I am busy with my studies so I really only go out on the weekends. I am not a light sleeper so when my roommate has people over on the weekdays it does not bother me.
What else to say? I have traveled around the world a bit and lived in Africa for two years. I can juggle, I love to play sports, and I can't remember the last time I got into an argument. I enjoy sharing music and movies from other cultures and just learning about culture in general. I have had several roommates over the years and get along well with all kinds of people. Also nearby there is a cool path that leads to the university and takes about 30 minutes to hike it uphill.
