Beautiful 22m2 room for rent in an altbau in the 2nd District near Augarten, 10 min walk from Praterstern! (Available now)
The room is approx. 22 m2 in size and bright. The windows face east, i.e. with the morning sun. In the room there is a shelf, a sofa, 2 associated armchairs and a coffee table.
The apartment has an interesting structure as it consists of two apartments that have been joined together. The apartment has windows on 2 opposite sides, which is great for ventilation.
The courtyard that belongs to the house is large and overgrown, with three large trees. This has the advantage of always having cool air from the courtyard side in summer. Since there are windows on both sides (i.e. courtyard and street side), you can really let yourself go.
There is a kitchen with gas stove, electric oven and dishwasher. The washing machine is shared, as is the tumble dryer. The bathroom is small but has a bathtub and in front of the bathroom there is a small space for clothes and clothes. (There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer.)
Two cats live in the apartment belonging to Ella: Schmendrick and Zorro. My housemate Ella takes care of the cats, you don't have to do anything pet them and play with them if you like.
The apartment is on the corner of Pazmanitengasse and Volkertmarkt. The Volkertmarkt is perhaps the smallest and most unknown market in Vienna, but in my opinion the best!
The nearest supermarkets are Billa and Spar, both 1-2 minutes walk. There is a large Lidel in Heinestrasse. There is also a Hofer and GourmetSpar at the Taborstrasse underground station.
Speaking of which: there is a bus station right on the Volkertmarkt, 40 m from the WG, it takes about 6 - 7 minutes to get to the Taborstrasse subway, and 10 - 12 minutes to the Praterstern.
Around the corner there is the tram station "Am Tabor" (5er and 0) about 2 minutes walk, just as far is the station "Heinestrasse (2er line). Another big advantage is the proximity to the Praterstern, the Billa there is also open on all public holidays. In addition, you have the advantage of the rapid transit system, i.e. very fast connections. eg to the airport.
The best of all at the end: 3 minutes on foot to the Augarten Park, approx. 10 minutes on foot to the Prater and by bike you are in 10 on the Danube Island!
This is what my housemate Ella wrote about the room and WG life for you :)
"I work as a multi-media designer in a large museum. (Correction: currently I am looking for a job.)
It shouldn't just be a flat share, but it doesn't have to be super-close either. I would prefer something in between. Although I'm actually very open, I like to be able to withdraw sometimes. I'm not an exaggerated order fanatic, but I like things already tidied up. But somehow we usually get together anyway :)
Important: you have to like cats, since two cats also live in the flat share. Since it is difficult to explain to cats who owns which room and they are used to seeing all rooms as their territory, it would be desirable who they were allowed (at least sometimes) into your room. If you don't like cats, this flat share is not for you. :)
If you like cats, they are both lovely and have a lot to give. As already written before, I take care of everything like food and boxes. So you can play and cuddle with two cute cats without any "obligations".
That was a lot about the cats now. So I'm happy if you cook together, but of course it doesn't have to be... We can talk about it when we get to know each other."
Room is available from now onwards, and would love to organise some inspections :)
Feel free to send a message/email and I can organise an inspection with my old housemate Ella.
