One of our rooms will be free from March or April 2023 (we are flexible) onwards and we are looking for someone to move in.
Location:
The flat is located in the 2nd district of Vienna, right between Donauinsel and Prater, which are the biggest green and blue spaces in Vienna. It takes you less than 10 minutes by foot to reach both places. Further, there are very good public transport connections. A U1 (Vorgartenstraße) and U2 (Messe-Prater) station is within a 7-minute walk. Both lines get you to the city centre (first district) in less than 6 minutes. The Vienna University of Economics and Business is also just a 10-minute walk away.
Flat:
The flat is 110 sqm big and has a unique 80 sqm garden that can only be used by us. There are 4 approximately equal-sized rooms. One of them is a shared living room from where you can access the garden. The room we offer is more than 20 sqm big with two big windows looking straight into our garden. The room will contain: a bed, spacious wardrobe, a whiteboard-coloured wall, cupboards, and a big desk. You can choose what to keep in the room:

Mattress (bought in October 2022 for 650€): 500€

The carpet, couches, and bedside table won't stay in the room.

The traffic on Vorgartenstraße is not too bad and there is almost no noise if you close the windows. Nights are usually quiet.

There are two bathrooms and one kitchen.

The garden is the centrepiece of our flat. A lot of space to chill, tables, chairs, a hammock, three trees, bushes and other plants, and a sofa. An ideal place to hang out together and have friends over.
The rent is 475€ per month + 20€ for insurance, internet and TV. Electricity & gas is difficult to estimate right now but was about 60€ a month (we pay quaterly).

Who are we looking for?
We don’t want to prespecify too many criteria. Just write us who you are, what you are doing, interests, and whatever you think is interesting to us. If you are already in Vienna, we would like to invite potential flatmates over to have a beer, wine or something else together (and to, obviously, view the flat in person). For those who are not in Vienna, we can arrange an online meeting where we can chat and show you the flat.

Who we are:
We are Sebastian and Conor. Sebastian is doing his master's in computer science and Conor started as an English teacher but is now working in cafés to improve his German.
Moritz, our flatmate who's moving to Helsinki, describes us as super chill, impossible to have an argument with, and always in for any kind of activities. For example, we like to cook or BBQ together, or walk to Donauinsel to go swimming an chill in the sun. On the other hand, it's very easy to have your personal space with Sebastian and Conor.
