Quiet 4-bedrooms shared apartment in the heart of the 3rd district.
We are looking for a tenant in our shared flat located nearby (4 mins walk) Rochusgasse U3 metro station, tram lines (71, 1, O), S-Bahn and Buses (74a, 4a). It takes ~30 mins to get to the airport and about ~15 mins to Hauptbahnhof, or 20 mins walk to get to city center. In only about 20 minutes walking distance are Donaukanal and Prater. Our spacious flat (122 sqm) with 4 bedrooms consists of two merged apartments in a charming Altbau building.
The room is about 12 sqm, with rent price of 471 euro per month including internet, gas, and electricity. Room will be furnished with a closet BUT THERE WILL BE NO BED in the room!.
Deposit amount is 600 euros.
The apartment is managed by the housing company that is taking care of the building and its surroundings. There is a bicycle station downstairs, and the building has a lift.
We are ideally looking for a rather longer term tenant: 6+ months.
Our building is 1 mins away from a Arenbergpark and 20 mins away walking distance from Prater. All major shops and facilities are around: supermarkets, galleria-shopping center; many doctor's offices and small local shops. Not to mention, Rochusmarkt, full of outdoors cafés, fresh farmers' produce and shops.
A little bit about us:
We are Carter (23), Antonija (30), and Tanjina (23)
Life in this WG is cozy and friendly. We all have pretty busy schedules, but we love socialising with each other over a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning and we have very open communication in our Signal chat. We primarily speak English in our WG, so it would be a big plus you did too.
Usually, our WG life is quiet, but occasionally we love to coordinate and throw house parties in this WG, and they are a huge success, as our spacious apartment is big enough to host a good melting pot of characters and vibes. Sometimes a quiet evening with some food and board games is also a great way to spend long winter nights.
here is a little bit more about the inhabitants of our WG:
Amina (F27) - is moving out soon - a communication scientist turned into a data scientist - grew up in Almaty (Kazakshtan), lived in France and Austria, knows the most about this WG and its surroundings. Makes coffee in three different ways, pays the bills, loves debates about human nature and reality TV shows.
Carter (M23) - our Northern Irish heartthrob - moved to Vienna in Fall 2023 to get his Master's degree in Economics while working remotely part-time. He can tell you all about Vienna nightlife, Dublin Pub culture, gym techniques, nutrition, and microeconomics. :)
Antonia(F30) - our Viennese native - works at the University of Vienna since 2023, has extensive knowledge and appreciation of art and art history. She spent a few years living in Berlin, speaks Serbo-Croatian and breathes life to every party with her humour and empathy.
Tanjina (F23) is about to move into the apartment from the US - she is doing her Master's degree in Business and Management at UniWien, and would love to explore the city and the neighbourhood.
