Hello (I will use english for this ad),
Since I am leaving this apartment end of July, I am looking for a person to share this beautiful apartment with me. The idea is sharing the large rooms (living room, office) and everyone has his:hers small private bedroom. Since I am also working from home as journalist and author, I'm looking for someone who is also interested in a respectful and funny way of shared living rather than nonstop party-life. An open mind and being mindful is mandatory for this space.
About the room. It is furnished with cupboard, bed and a reading chair. The room is facing the street but it is a silent one. Overall it is a peaceful area in Vienna, neighbours are silent. We might be the loudest when listening to records or cooking together.
My experience in recent years has shown that I get along better with female flatmates. Some words of Laura - flatmate who moved back to Bruxelles: "I am incredibly sad to be leaving the apartment and the great company of Konsti! I have had such an incredible year cooking, dancing and solving crossword puzzles together. If you are a bit nerdy, enjoy talking about politics and listening to Harry Styles, and love food, this is the place for you. The apartment is absolutely stunning with lots of room to hang out, and you will gain a great friend with it. I cannot recommend it enough. I hope whoever gets this room has the great experience I had :)"
The 4th district of Vienna - Wieden - is beautiful, central and offers everything you need.
The flat is close to U1 Taubstummengasse (4mins), the trams of Maierhofsgasse (3mins) Karlsplatz is in walking distance (10 mins).
Supermarket (Spar) is 1 min of walking. There's shops for everything at Wiedner Hauptstraße (closeby).
And there's some great places for food around the corner (slow food deli, vietnamese, neapolitan pizza, noodle king for rough sundays).
My favorite bars/gastronomy: Schikaneder (also a cinema), Alma (great wine and food), Propeller.
Although it seems strange to write about this...I will give it a try.
We will drink coffee and solve crosswords and you probably will be a fan of my cooking skills.
Since I come from a wine region, you might enjoy a glass of the stuff I bring to the flat every once in a while.
I live vegetarian, but don't mind if you are not.
In the mornings I can be a silent flatmate, but since I also work on the stage - I might read texts aloud sometimes or record podcasts. Other hobbies: Theatre, photography, everything related to food.
Languages: I grew up bilingual (burgenland-croatian and german; my croatian is very good, my russian ok)
I like sports (cycling, yoga, running, skateboarding) and the flat is big enough for working out at home as well. There is a boxing studio around the corner.
When it comes to deposit - we can talk about it, if you're not willing to use your savings for that. The exact price for gas/electricity will go up, but I haven't gotten the annual bill yet. At the moment it is 90 Euros per person.
