I am leaving from FEBRUARY TO JUNE 2024 (01.02.2024-30.06.2024) for an Erasmus in Spain and I would like to rent my room for that time.
I love living here and I love my room. It is bright and spacious and I think it has everything you need.
There’s a desk by the window to study and many drawers to store your stuff.
In the evening you can get cozy on the bed or on the sofa and enjoy the dim lights.
It is possible to arrange the furniture as one desires.
Nobody lives in the apartment in front of your window, so you won’t feel observed all the time.
The apartment is on a side street so it’s relatively quiet, especially on Sundays.
THE REST OF THE APARTMENT: includes a bathroom with bathtub, a separate toilet, a kitchen with dishwasher, an entrance hall with drying racks, a convenient storage room and two other bedrooms.
The whole apartment has underfloor heating.
In addition there’s a basement and a bike room. During your stay you are welcomed to use my pretty pink bike.
The apartment lies on the border of the 5th district, close to the 6th, and is therefore very centrally located.
Distances to famous locations:
- Naschmarkt 2min by foot
- Karlsplatz 15min by foot, 5 with metro
- Mariahilf 12min by foot, 8 with bus
- Hauptbahnhof, 20min with bus
- Uni Wien, 25min with metro and tram
- WU, 25min with one metro transfer
Connections to public transport:
- U4 Kettenbrückengasse just on the parallel street, 3min
- U4 Pilgramgasse, 5min
- busses 13A 14A 12A, 5min
The district:
- the 5th district is a characteristic family district with many delicious restaurants and many asian markets
- the 6th district nearby is famous for its numerous cafes, both for breakfast in the morning or drinks in the evening
As I am leaving, your new flatmates would be Mike and Francesco. Both are very pleasant to be around and respect common house rules.
They are both from Vienna, so if you’re learning German this could be your perfect opportunity to practice and get to know the Austrian culture. If not, I am sure they will be very happy to speak English with you. They are both very international and eager to learn new cultures.
Both are 28 years old and on a journey of building their desired future, by studying and working. While Francesco works for the majority at home, Mike is out every morning and sometimes in the afternoon.
We don’t have fixed appointments to do something together, but we often casually meet in the kitchen and enjoy a nice chitchat. Sometimes on Sundays we have cake and tea together and discuss something for the apartment, or we just update each other and talk about different topics.
For us, it is very important to maintain good relations with each other. Everyone should be able to express their concerns and know that they will be listened to. We want each flatmate to feel comfortable in his own house, so we try our best to accommodate everyone's wishes.
We have a weekly cleaning plan to keep the common spaces clean and a Splitwise group to share common expenses. Typically, everyone buys their own food as we have different habits and routines, so cooking together happens rarely.
If you are interested please write a kind text with a short description of yourself.
Mike and Francesco would like to get to know you first. So possibly add your availability and if you can meet in person or not.
If you have any other questions first, don’t hesitate to ask.
