Hi there!
We are renting a room in our 95 square metres apartment in Mariahilferstraße. The room is a "kabinett", it has 11 square meters. The room is located near the entrance of the apartment and near the bathroom, so you can also have your own privacy. The window faces the inner yard. We are a couple and use the two rooms next to the kitchen. There is also a terrace hosting our little urban garden :) The apartment is unexpectedly quiet, since it's on the inner side of the building.
The price is 430€ (including bills, internet, a cleaning lady coming once a week).
ACHTUNG: Since our flatmate moved out recently, she brought with her all her furniture. We put a 145 cm mattress and the bed slags at your disposal, and we also have a white ikea desk that we could move to your room. We also have a small white sofa, if you want to use it. There are also two big rugs on the floor, which makes it cosier in winter. In the pictures, you can see how the room was when our flatmate lived here. You will need to buy a closet or clothes rag for sure and maybe a couple of bookshelves.
Very important for us: We are looking for a friendly, clean and respectful person. Being tidy and clean is very important since everyone has a lot to do and no one wants to collect other people's items in his/her free time ;) We would also prefer someone who is working, with a similar lifestyle to ours. It's not allowed to smoke inside the apartment / to bring pets.
Museumsquartier, U3 Neubaugasse/ Burgring tram 1,2,71,D, U2 Volkstheater
The apartment is located in the centre of Vienna, so it is within walking distance from many hot spots, like Museumsquartier, the first district, Rathaus, Burggarten, Karlsplatz.
You walk about 7 minutes to U2 Volkstheater (U2 Museumsquartier is temporarily closed, until next spring approx.) and 7 Minutes to U3 Neubaugasse. There is a small Spar very near and a Billa 5 minutes away. There is one Hofer on the Mariahilferstraße or near Naschmarkt. Since Mariahilferstrasse is very close, you can find everything you want veeeery near.
Giulia: born in Italy and been living in Austria for a while. Language teacher and freelancer. Loves cooking, learning new languages, practising yoga, dancing salsa and travelling. Quite into arts and culture as well, including reading and going to the movies. Also does the gardening on our balcony. Just came back from two years in Spain.
Ludwig: Austrian, from Carinthia, works in PR and communication. German- Italian bilingual. A very nice and fun guy. Used to be sporty, now plays football and goes for an occasional run when he is not too lazy for it. Pretends to play the Ukulele.
We are both very sociable and like to hang out with friends and organize parties and dinners. We usually talk in Italian between us two but we adapt to whichever situation - German, English and Italian are perfectly fine :) Giulia also speaks Spanish but Ludwig doesn't.
We are very friendly, easy-going and open-minded people and like to have a drink together if we get along well. But we are also working and are a couple, so everyone should get some privacy.
We buy together some stuff like toilet and kitchen paper, dish soap, salt, etc.
