Hi! We're looking for a new roommate! :-)
The room is pretty small and quiet. It starts with a wardrobe area, which I find really nice. The mezzanine bed is very wide and spacious. I am taking a writing table with me, but the white commode, mattress, small shelves, clothes rack, and chair you can see in some pictures can/will stay. I bought the mattress and the commode when I moved in, so I would like to resell them. They both fit perfectly here!
The window goes inside the yard and onto other windows, so I never heard any noise from the street. There's a friendly neighbor from Brazil in a window next to mine, sometimes we smoke together. :)
There's a 57A Bus stop within 2 minute's walk from our house, and, of course, the U6 Station Gumpendorferstrasse is 5 minutes away on foot, and U4 station Längenfeldgasse is 10 minutes away.
In a 3-10 minute range, you can reach Spar, DM, Bipa, Billa, local markets with nice vegetables, Tabak Traffics, Domino's etc.
Gumpendorferstrasse is a pretty busy street, so we have lots of small shops nearby, which comes in handy.
Schonbrunn Park is super close - a great place for walks or your morning runs.
Mariahilfer Straße, which is considered Vienna's shopping and cultural center, is close as well, a 20-minute walk or 10 minutes on transport.
Westbahnhof and a huge IKEA are in 10 minutes from our place. Pretty cool if you ask me!
We have a big kitchen with a dishwasher and a big oven; Lara (your future roommate) brought her coffee machine which was mega nice of her, so we all use it now too hehe. In general, this apartment has everything needed for comfortable co-living.
Your future roommates are Lara(24) and Theo(23).
Lara studies Architecture, and she enjoys get-togethers and making waffles, Lara is from Germany.
Theo is from France, he likes literature and art, he's here in Austria to study German. They are both lovely easy-going people, I am sure you will like them.
We always helped each other if anything was needed, and the atmosphere, in general, is chill, no stress about anything - there's enough stress in this life. :-)
The monthly rent is 277€, the bills are approx. 70€ now; the kaution is 960€;
I want to ask 150€ for the mattress and the HEMNES commode, but it is negotiable - let me know which price you can go with. And in general, just let me know if you have any questions or wishes. Thank you!
Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
