The room you will get is the biggest of the flat. You have your own balcony with a view on a peaceful surrounding (there is no road on this side, just small gardens below). It is very luminous all day, and full south so you got sun most of the time.
You will have to pay 500€ to get all the furniture inside, you can see all of it in the pictures, it is more than a fair price for all you will get : 4 chairs (2 for inside, and 2 outside), 2 big armchairs, 4 tables (one small in glass, 2 big ones, and another one for the outside on the balcony), 2 sofas, 1 bed structure (but no mattress), carpets, a hamac, A gramophone (old school vinyl player), and a big black wardrobe. I dismanteled the bed because we were using my room as a living room until now (We were a couple so we used another room to sleep)
So the only thing that you really need to buy for the room is a mattress and some bed stuff
The apartment is located in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, about 5 minutes by tram from Westbahnhof. From the Westbahnhof you can actually reach almost every corner of Vienna. For example, it takes about 25 minutes to get to the main university. There is a Billa right on the doorstep and you can find everything else you need in the area. The increasingly popular Schwendermarkt is right in front of you ;) Opposite the tram station towards Westbahnhof there is also one of the best coffee shops in Vienna! The charming Auer-Welsbach Park is within easy walking distance and Schönbrunn Palace is right behind it :)
At the moment there is only 2 people staying, another smaller room will also be available approximately at the same time.
You will live with Alex, who is always in a good mood, very enthusiastic about music, a fabulous cook and generally very humorous :) And Naima, coming from switzerland. She's not really often there because she has a lot to do but she is also nice, a bit more picky for the cleaning.
Both of them are partly working, partly studying. So they are pretty busy and we don't see each others a lot. They both speak native German, but they also speak English and Naima speaks French too.
We maintain an open and friendly coexistence. We can sometimes cook together, party or just have a quick cigarette in the kitchen, everything is possible, nothing is mandatory.
For cleaning, it's pretty chill but we try each week to make rounds to clean the flat (One room per person : toilet, bathroom, kitchen or entrance).
