For rent is a beautiful 10 sqm room in a shared apartment in the heart of Ottakring. The room is on the ground floor of an old building, facing the garden. A large window, which faces the garden, let the sun shine in, especially in the morning. Due to the location of the room you can't hear the traffic at all. In the room there is a big wordorbe, a queen size loft bed, a desk with drawers, a study chair, a confortable armchair, a large mirror and a small bookshelf... All you need! Basically everything you see in the picture can be yours for a small price.
The rent is 330 euros, all included, i.e. electricity, hot water, internet, as well as a cleaner who comes once a week to clean the kitchen, bathroom and toilet. If you want, you can also have the room cleaned free of charge by arrangement.
The garden is freely accessible to everyone and there is a table and some chairs for having a nice coffee in the morning or a relaxing chat in the evening. When the muse grabs you, you can design the garden as you wish, plant flowers and generally try out creative things.
The apartment is well connected to the Ottakring train station, which is a 7-minute walk. From there you can reach the Schnellbahn (S45), U3, 46 and 44 trams. Also not far away is the 2 tram, which, like the 44, brings you to the city centre in 20 minutes. The 10A is also very close: in 5 minutes, you are at the bus stop.
There are plenty of supermarkets around: a Spar, Lidl, Billa, Denns, DM, Interspar, a pharmacy, as well as a few small, international shops are in the immediate vicinity.
The Wilherminenberg is not far for relaxation. It takes 15 minutes to get there and from there you can enjoy nature and explore its forest paths.
You will be living with Lorenza (24) and Theo (20). Lorenza comes from Italy and is doing an intnerhisp at a NGO here in Vienna, Theo comes from France and is doing his a erasmus at University of Vienna. They are both friendly, open minded and sweet persons and will be happy to know you and share some time together in the free time :) Since Lorenza doesn’t speak German it would be good if you had basic skills in English speaking so it would be possible to communicate ;)
In general, the flat share is rather relaxed and everyone is given the freedom they need. Nevertheless sometimes we meet each other in the kitchen to cook adn eat something together and end the evening on the couch chatting a having a good laugh!
