Hello nature-loving people!
There is a cozy, spacious, bright room with a lot of plants and vintage furniture waiting for you - coming with a bunch of lovely flatmates, lots of shared spaces and a garden.
The room lies on the first floor of a family house, has 20 square meters and faces south-west. The two windows and the big french window allow the sun to shine in from noon till dawn.
As I am leaving for one semester abroad and this is a temporary accommodation, the room will be furnished. It is organized in different living-areas: there is a bunk bed with a crafts area below, a chill out area with a sofa and a record player, a working area with a big external monitor and a dressing area right by the entrance.
A shared balcony can be entered directly from the room (or through the private room next to it), which is especially nice for having a morning coffee or a sun-downer (which is already kind of a house-tradition).
One of our other flatmates is leaving us in January or February. That room is smaller (= cheaper) and on the ground floor. But If you're interested to stay here for a year, that might be your preferred choice. https://www.wg-gesucht.de/9011682.html?ma=1
The house is located in an almost suburbian area at the slope of a hill (Schafberg). In 10-15 minutes you can walk up to the forest, but public transport ist also only 5 minutes walk away and you can reach the city center quite fast.
With living in a house come a lot of shared spaces: we have a huge living room with a video projector for movie nights, a basement with a music room and a boulderwall, two guest beds on the 2nd floor, a workshop in the garage, a big garden including a vegetable patch, a fire place and a tree house!
We are a community of 8 people that want to not only share their living space but also take part in each others lives. We have cooking- and movie nights, campfires and barbecues and from now and then we go hiking or do other things together. There are always projects in and around the house going on, in the warm half of the year the garden needs to be looked after and we are starting to grow vegetables.
Our schedules are quite different, so we started to have a WG-night every sunday where everyone tries to be there. Every other sunday we also have a plenary meeting.
But who are we?
We are both studying and working and have very different hobbies and interests. Some of us are climate activists, some are more or less sporty, others are parts of party collectives and others are just total foodies. But all of us love our Häusle and our community - therefore we are looking for a person that sees themselves in that description above and wants to actively take part in the communal things.
We have a very cute dog living with us, she's called Arya and she is looking for cuddles 24/7! And Micky is our grandpa-cat, he is also very lovely.
Arya and Micky are mostly people-orientated and have some difficulties with their fellow species, so unfortunately we cannot allow any more cats nor dogs moving in.
We do have a cleaning plan and it's very important to us that everyone feels responsible to do their part. 'Cause with 8 people it can get messy quite fast ;)
There is the possibility to extend the temporary accommodation during summer, because I don't know exactly when I'll come back or whether I'll find a summer job there. So maybe you can stay 1-2 months longer at Häusle :)
