Zut TU braucht man in etwa 25 Minuten.
Alles Liebe,
Paula und Laura.

Hello dear future residents of my room,
Since I'm going to Argentina for a semester abroad in February, my room in our shared flat (WG - "Wohngemeinschaft") is available for rent. For a period of 7 months (February - September), we are therefore looking for a lovely flatmate for my friend Laura. The room would of course be ideal for someone who is also doing an exchange semester in Vienna. Since it is really important for us to have a pleasant atmosphere in the flat and Laura doesn't want a functional flat-sharing community, we are primarily looking for a person who plans to stay in the room for the whole period time.
Room and flat:
The room to be rented is 20 square metres in size and very quiet due to its courtyard-side location. Even though the room rarely gets direct sunlight, it is very bright. Since the room is only available for interim rent, you are welcome to take over my furniture (bed, desk, large wardrobe). If you wish, I can also clear out the room as much as possible. However, since the wardrobe is not so easy to dismantle, it has to stay in the room in any case.
The flat is very spacious and bright. The flat was renovated only a few years ago, but it still convinces with its old building flair (high ceilings, large windows). There is a large living room (approx. 20 square metres) with a TV, which can be shared. As a little treat, I offer to pay for my Netflix subscription so that you can continue to use it. :) The bathroom has a bathtub and shower. Our kitchen is also really spacious (Approx. 18 square metres) and the large dining room table is great for board game nights and shared dinners.
Location:
The location of the flat is directly on Elterleinplatz in the 17th district and very central. It takes about 15 min to the Schottentor, 20 min to the Mariahilferstraße and 25 min to the 1st district. The numerous shops in close proximity are particularly pleasant: At Elterleinplatz there are many different supermarket chains (Billa, Billa Plus, Lidl, Hofer) as well as drugstores (DM and BIPA), a post office, two large bank branches (Bank Austria and Erste Bank) a pharmacy and recently also a COVID-19 test station. There are also some Turkish supermarkets and bakeries nearby, a Burgerking, many restaurants and probably one of the best kebab/ falafel shops in Vienna. :)
Especially great is the proximity to the Brunnenmarkt (10 minutes walk) where you can not only buy cheap fruit and vegetables but also find numerous bars and cafes.
Tram lines 43 and 9 are only one minute away from the flat, which take you quickly into the city centre and to various underground stations. The U6 line is also not far (about an 8-minute walk). The main building of the University of Vienna can be reached from the flat in less than 15 minutes. The location is also certainly very advantageous for BOKU students. However, the connection to the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration is also good.
Shared flat life:
You will live in a 2-person flat share with Laura. Laura is 24 years old, studies business law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and also works at Erste Bank and in a cabaret in Vienna. Laura spends most of her time at work and at university, so if you're looking for someone to spend the best study days with in the library, she's the one. :) In her spare time, Laura also enjoys going to the gym or spending time with friends. Living together with Laura is really very pleasant. You can spend nice evenings cooking together, playing cards or just chilling on the sofa with a glass of wine and chatting. Nevertheless, Laura also values her privacy, just like that of her flatmates. It is important to Laura that her future flatmate is also tidy and takes care of the shared furniture and technical equipment.
Furthermore, the WG is not suitable for people who are looking for a party WG!
Other:
Since we both have a lot to do, we have a cleaning help every fortnight for three hours each, who helps us to keep the common rooms clean. The costs for this are not yet included in the total price. It might be possible to find an individual solution here.
I have set the deposit at 1,000€, as many pieces of furniture in the flat are new purchases. If the amount is a big problem, we can possibly find an individual solution here as well.

I would like to point out once again that in principle everyone is welcome, but that the future housemate should be vaccinated!
We are really looking forward to your feedback! Please send me some lines about yourselves and your wishes for the WG life with your request. :) Visits can also be made online if you are not in the country yet.
All love,
Paula and Laura.
