So I am leaving my beloved roomies for the summer and i am looking for someone who is willing to take my room and wants to enjoy the best time of the year in this beautiful city.
It is with a heavy heart I am leaving my beautiful room in the 19th district. It's a classic Altbau room with a beautiful parquet floor, large bright windows, high ceilings and a very urban view over the U6, Vienna's rooftops and Nussdorfer Strasse.
As for the common areas, you can use everything. We have a hallway with a couch, a fully equipped bathroom with a bathtub and a bright, lovely kitchen. It's definitely a cozy flat and has a lot of character! Kinda bohemian vibes :-) More stickers/posters for the walls are especially welcome
The flat is 2 mins away from the metro (U6 Nussdorfer Strasse and U6/U4 Spittelau) and right next to tram station Glatzgasse (the 37 and 38 lines bring you in 10 minutes to Schottentor, the U2 metro line and the Ringstrasse in the city centre). We have Spar, Billa and Hofer nearby as well as a Turkish supermarket , a pub downstairs and the Währinger Park is 5 mins away by foot! (Super pleasant park with ping pong tables, basketball courts, and fields for chillin in the sun)
We're a close group of friends who like cooking together, drinking wine and talkin bout life, going out drinking and clubbing. Our flat specializes in pancake breakfasts, spring roll lunches, and spritzer dinners, but we welcome other all other specialties ;)
It's super important for us to live ecologically-conscious (so like recycling, composting, controlling food waste, eating vegetarian/vegan etc., but you dont have to!) It's Elise (US, 22, WU student), Me (Austrian-Polish, 25, biology student/social worker) and Melly (Austrian-Brazilian, political science student/party planner). We all get along really well, but of course, we respect each other's spaces. We're also really tidy, We're not really picky, just don't be a mess, haha. Right now our main language is English, but now it's a German-speaking majority, so we're open to switching.
