Welcome to our gemütlich paradise! Our four-person WG is looking for a new flatmate starting from the end of April. If you love cooking, coziness, and corgis, then we are the WG for you. We are looking for someone who is tidy, kindhearted, and respectful. A good sense of humor is also a must. And we are sex positive, queer friendly, mental health respecting space.
About us:
Pierre is the house caregiver who looks after our four-legged friend, our plant collection, and the flatmates when we’re feeling under the weather. He is the WG Netflix connoisseur and studying agricultural science at the BOKU in his spare time. Major plus for the WG- he is an INCREDIBLE cook.
Sabrina is a professional professional working in advertising and general badass babe. She loves her Eierspeise and takes her health seriously. If you need a recommendation for a gym in the area, Sabrina as got you. She is also known to enjoy Vienna’s night life and have thrilling stories to share the next morning.
Betsy is our American girl who loves to bake sweet things to share with the WG. Her day go is at an international school, but her passion lies in fighting for gender equality through community development. Recently she’s been obsessed with making a Korean fried chicken and experimenting to find the perfect level of spicy.
Balduin is arguably the cutest in the WG. Even tho he is barely 60cm tall, he has a huge personality. No matter how your day has gone, his wagging tail will spark joy when you come home. Extra points if you chase him around the flat for a little bit and play hide and seek.
About the space:
Your room is a 10qm room with the option of a lofted bed to make it more spacious. It gets plenty of sunlight and is light at all the right times year round. The super high ceilings mean you can get creative with the space.
The shared spaces are two bathrooms, a storage room and a kitchen/living room. One bathroom has a toilet and shower and the second has a toilet, bathtub and washing machine. Our favorite room in the flat is the kitchen/living room which has a full sized kitchen equipped with dishwasher and plenty of space to relax. We share basic items like spices, cleaning supplies, oils, and such. Most evenings you’ll find us chilling on the couch puzzling or at the table working together. It’s the epitome of cozy and welcoming.
The rent is 411€, including internet and bi-weekly cleaning. The down payment is €900 and there is a one-time takeover cost of €632 for flat appliances.
We prefer someone who is studying or working half to full time and is looking for something more longterm. When you write, please tell us a bit about you and what your expectations of communal living are. It is important to us that the next flatmate has the same values for living together as we do.
