Hey there :)
I am looking for a person to share my apartment with. The room is 9qm big, with a wardrobe and single bed plus mattress upon your wish (with Ablöse to my current flatmate). The windows face towards the inner courtyard, so no street noises.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, with dishwasher, oven, washing machine, etc. The apartments on my floor of the building has been completely fully renovated, thus the high rent for this district, but for that the apartment is very clean and new. My friend and I were the first tenants to live in this apartment, and we moved in in September 2019.
The Miete is 360€ including heating and internet. Electricity is not included in the price, because I am currently in the process of changing companies and don't know how much they will charge.
My flatmate is moving away on an unset date sometime mid June, so the date is flexible, before the 1st of July.
The apartment is 4 mins away from U1 Reumannplatz and 3 mins from Strassenbahn 0, 18... there are a bunch of trams and busses around here which have been useful to me from time to time. The address is Leibnizgasse 38, 1100, feel welcome to look that up.
Around the corner we have Hofer, Billa, Lidl, Bipa, DM, Müller, an Apotheke... Keplerplatz which is a brisk 10 minute walk from our place is a proper shopping district in its own right, so there are plenty of shopping possibilities. The good thing is that the apartment itself is not in the middle of it all. :)
One of my favourite things about this neighbourhood is that there is a morning market with really affordable, fresh veggies down the road. It's open till 13:00 and it's great, full of life.
The Amalienbad (swimming pool) is also a 4 minute walk away, if swimming is your thing.
I am a 27 year old violinist who currently works in an orchestra in Vienna and the UK. I studied Konzertfach Violine at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and also did a bachelor's degree at the Konservatorium Wien. On days when I work I will be out from morning till around 17, and in the evenings I like to relax, cook, play violin, listen to podcasts, etc. the usual winding down stuff. Often I travel to the UK for work or to visit my boyfriend. I am an open minded, friendly person, so I'd be really happy if I could find someone who is positive and enjoys a nice chat and likes the sometimes energetic, sometimes relaxed vibe I send out. I speak English, German and Korean.
In the same building just a floor down from us, is a WG consisting of 3 people who are good friends of mine from university. They are also musicians and very pleasant people who I'm sure you will enjoy getting to know as well.
If you like your life and are interested in the room, send me a message!
I speak German, so German speakers are welcome.
