Young working couple looking for a new home in Barcelona

We are Vitalia and Marco, 30 and 32 years old, a German couple moving from Berlin/Frankfurt to Barcelona this October. We are relocating to this beautiful city because of a career change for Marco and are, therefore, looking for a new place to call our home. The apartment on offer seems to be a good fit for us.

Marco is an engineer currently working for CARIAD, a Volkswagen company, and will educate himself further in Barcelona to become a chiropractor whilst still working on the side. Vitalia works as a trend researcher and consultant for a Frankfurt-based innovation consultancy and will continue working remotely after we move to Barcelona. Together, we currently have an income of approximately 6.000€ after taxes.

We are both friendly, open and calm people, non-smokers, and have no pets. As we also have experience in renting out our own apartments back in Germany we know how important it is to treat the place we live in with respect. We find it important to be good neighbours, to be polite, communicate openly and respect other people‘s need for quiet. In our free time we like to do yoga, exercise, go hiking, explore museums or simply sit at a cafe and read a good book. We both speak a little bit of Spanish (hoping to improve this soon) besides German and English.

In Barcelona, we hope to explore the city, to get to know the local culture and to eventually become part of it ourselves. Maybe your apartment could become the base for this next chapter in our lives.
