Sunny apartment needed!

Hi there,

We (Becca and Gerrit) are searching for an apartment together in Berlin! We are looking for an apartment to call home for years to come, and therefore we have a couple of different criteria for the apartment in mind.

Specifically, we desire something:
-From 01 June onwards, though our move-in date is flexible
-2 or more rooms, 55+ square meters
-Approximately 900 euros
-With a kitchen in place
-Anmeldung possible
-Long-term (at least 1 year, but open-ended is favorable and subletting is also okay)
-In the areas of Brunnenviertel, Friedrichshain, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Kreuzberg, Gesundbrunnen, Mitte, Neukölln, PLB, Tiegel, Templehof, Templehof-Schöneberg, or Tiergarten
-Natural light or big windows are a huge plus

Preferable but not necessary:
-Located on an upper floor/not on the ground level
-Facing the courtyard/not the street
-Balcony or terrace access for our plants

A little bit about us:
Becca (28) is originally from San Francisco, California, and recently completed her master's degree in cognitive science. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, meditating, doing yoga, going to the gym, wandering in and around the city, meeting with friends for long philosophical conversations, dancing, and singing. In an apartment, she particularly loves having heaps of natural light for her and many plants to bathe in. She would characterize herself as responsible, friendly, and conscientious, with a light-hearted attitude and curiosity for all of life's experiences.

Gerrit (24) is originally from Osnabrück, Germany, and has recently completed his degree as well. In his leisure time, Gerrit often enjoys going for long road bike tours, doing sports, barbecuing with friends, and having long conversations about the current state of the world, as well as cooking and reading almost every night. He would characterize himself as easy-going, responsible, and house-trained ;).

Both of us are young, motivated professionals with upcoming job interviews in Berlin and are searching for our perfect home away from home for the foreseeable future.
