Looking for 1 or 2-room apartment in Deutz or Belgisches Viertel

I'm looking for an apartment in one of these two neighborhoods: Deutz or Belgisches Viertel...or vicinities.


Myself: Spaniard, engineer professional, clean and tidy, working for a European Organization in Cologne...I can promise two things: I will take care of the apartment, and I will pay the monthly rent early every month sharp. I plan to stay just during weekdays, as my family lives in Brussels, and I will be commuting most weekends.

Budget: up to 700 euros/month

Characteristics of apartment: Bright is a must, with kitchen (rest of furnish is not imporatnt), preferable in an old building with character and high ceilings, and it should be at least a 2nd floor or a 1st with light. In a quiet street.
